Chương 20: Chapter 20: Disappearing act!
"So what is the devil trio looking for lil' old me, it looks like you wanna ask something, so what is it?" I looked at them expectantly.
" Heyya, Natsu! How are you doin'. Earlier Hagrid mentioned someone named Nicolas Flamel. We couldn't find any information about him. Do you know who he is? And is he your relative or somethin'?" Neville asked me directly.
"Of course I know who he is, but it's not because we share the same surname, hmm, actually I've never noticed that before. Maybe my father comes from the long line of squibs? It's a possibility or maybe it's just a coincidence, I don't know. Though, I will check this in Gringotts for sure. Anywho.. I could tell you who he is but you have to tell me why you're so curious about him " I said. Of course I know why they are looking for Nicolas Flamel, but I better play my part.
Harry looked around us, checking if anyone was nearby and then wandlessly cast muffliato. After he made sure that nobody would hear us, he told me about their little adventures.
" Hahaha, you're so cute together, playing like you're detectives." I rubbed Harry's head to make him more embarrassed.
And sure enough… His face became like a tomato. He kicked my shin and whined " Brotherrrr.. be serious!"
" Ahahaha, okay okay! I can't imagine why you couldn't find any information on your own." I said teasingly and continued " Afterall he is only the most famous alchemist in the world! He is over 600 years old and known as the only maker of the Philosopher's Stone. So, if Hagrid did tell you that, then it may be possible that the thing that Cerberus guards is the Philosopher's Stone. But the real question is why put it there? " I sighed.
"But enough with that. You shouldn't give any more of your time to this. Let the person who put the Philosopher's Stone in there worry. " I said dismissively.
They didn't look satisfied, but I continued " Anyway, I need your help Harry, are you free right now?".
" Of course! What do you need, Natsu?" Harry asked eagerly.
" Follow me, I'll tell you when we arrive at ROR." I said after I packed my things up.

" Okay now that we're here.. Harry take this. " I said while taking a small bottle from my pocket.
"This is the essence of dittany. I need to practice my apparition, and in case I get splinched or something, I need you to use this. And of course I could use your healing parselmagic."
" What is splinching, Natsu?" Neville asked me confused.
" Well.. When you disapparate from somewhere to apparate, you could leave a part of you like an arm or a leg behind, or you could get hurt while appiriting. I don't think I'm gonna get hurt, but you can never be more careful. So I need you to watch in case something happens. And I can trust you guys to keep this secret." I smiled at them.
" Of course Natsu!" The trio beamed at me, but they couldn't hide their worried faces.
" Don't worry guys, everything is gonna be okay, I've read everything about apparition in ROR." I smiled at them reassuringly.
Okay now let's do this, Remember,The Three Ds: Destination, Determination and Deliberation. First, close your eyes, picture the place you want to be, and don't think of anything else, you got this! You got this! I said to myself.
Soon, a cracking noise was heard where Natsu stood and he disappeared from where he stood and funnily enough, reappeared in the exact same spot.
" Hahaha, he.. he.. appa… hahaha! He apparated only to go to the same place! Ahahaha! I can't… I can't… My stomach…. Hahaha!" Harry was laughing his ass off on the floor.
I glared him and quickly sent a stinging hex at his bottom,
" Ouch!" He jumped while holding his butt. He sent me a cute glare.
" You deserved it and you know it. Now, hush. I need to focus." I closed my eyes and repictured the place I wanted to be again. But this time I reappeared across the room, approximately fifteen meters away from the trio.
" Yess! " I said happily and tried apparition a few more times. While I was getting used to apparition , the trio was looking at me with wide eyes. I turned my gaze at them and said " Guys, don't even think about it! It's a really advanced piece of magic and requires immense focus. While Harry could do this in a year or two , Neville and Hermione, you guys may need a few more years. Apparition itself is not a really complicated or power-taxing magic, but because when we're children we get easily distracted so that makes it dangerous for the younger students to learn. Therefore, I 'll teach you in a couple of years, okay?"
"Okaaay! " They said disappointedly.
"Okay now let's get to the part two why I need you, side-along apparition, you're gonna love it! Ahahaha! Just a small friendly reminder: Don't throw up." I winked at them while scaring them shitless. Am I evil or not?

Soon the Christmas Break came. And Harry and I were going home. After I get back home, I am planning to get to the bottom of this Flamel business. Maybe a trip to Gringotts in order…
