Chương 14: Chapter 14: End of Captain Marvel

A few hours later everyone got prepared. Monica was sent to her grandparent's house, while Law put his mother in his personal realm. Although this did bring up questions from both Fury and Maria, Carol backed him up and reassured them she was somewhere completely safe.

Before they boarded the ship, Law pulled out a blank white mask, with just eye holes. He made this in secret while Carol was unlocking her powers. Using his metal manipulation, it was easy for Law to shape a blank white mask. It wouldn't be winning any art rewards, but it was enough to safeguard his identity for now.

The next few hours went exactly as they had in the movie. They used the modified Quinjet to arrive in front of the cloaked laboratory. Carol disengaged the lab's cloaking system, and they found the tesseract the arrive at Mar-Vell's work station. Talos called the remaining Skrull who were hiding in the space -ship and reunited with his wife and child.

"Well, well, well what do we have here, a group of Skrull with one of the most dangerous artifacts in the universe. Good job Vers, you've led us right to them, with a bonus present as well. Or should I be calling you Carol now?" Yon-Rogg the pitiful said (Author's note: Honestly this is one of the saddest antagonists in the MCU ever. But I guess you can't expect much when you put a person who at max has the strength of a peak human, against one of the most powerful figures in Marvel period.)

Carol's fists lit up in anger, ready to send her 'mentor' packing.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you, Vers. Sure, you may have your powers unlocked right now, but you wouldn't want everyone in this ship dying right." Smugly replied Yon-Rogg.

"Do you honestly think that I can't kill all of you right now. I've been let off the chain 'mentor', and it's time for me to get some payback." Carol replied by continued to power up, with her hair lighting up as if it was on fire.

"You really don't want to do that Vers. After you dispatched Att-Lass and removed that chip, I decided that we needed back up. Soon an entire fleet's will be here. So just do yourself a favor and surrender" Yon-Rogg threatened with a grin.

"I'll just kill all of you before they arrive" Carol snapped clearly letting the anger get to her. Yon-Rogg gained a glint in his eyes clearly thinking that he had already won.

"You probably can but you can't kill us and protect everyone here at the same time. So, just surrender Vers, we'll fix whatever they've done to you" He said walking up to Carol with a collar in hand that he had just pulled out of his satchel. Meanwhile every Kree soldier ready their guns, to shoot at the slightest provocation by Carol. While Yon-Rogg was gloating in front of Carol riling her up, Law was using his soul sight to map out every person in the base. At this is the moment that he realized just how desperate the Skrull were to be saved because every Skrull that was living in this spaceship came to greet Talos because of his call.

'Well, that's great for me. Now it's time to start the show.' Law thought as he spread out his soul power covering all the friendlies except for Carol so that she could have her fun.

"I'm going to have to stop you right there," Law said while slowly walking up, earning the attention of everyone there. Maria tried to stop him, but Fury held her back believing that Law could do something to help right now. It's not like he had many options, he could only put his hope in the 10-year-old superhuman.

"Well aren't you a brave little person. What's so wrong with your face that you have to hide it? " Yon-Rogg asked as he stopped walking towards Carol and turned towards the masked 5ft tall person (Author's note: Yes, I putting that Law is 5ft tall right now, I forgot to include it when I was describing his appearance and just left it at the body of a 12-year-old.)

"Honestly just shut up. Your voice is seriously starting to piss me off. Such a pretentious weak little man, you're not worth the dirt my shoe's let alone Carol's. You threaten Carol with a fleet of ships and when that doesn't work you threaten her with hostages. Honestly, you're like a whiny little child. Well first things first, let's remove the hostages from this deal" Law said in a mocking tone. With a wave of his hand the Skrull, Fury, Maria, Goose and the Tesseract, all disappeared.

"Now, that the civilians have been removed, Let us dance," Law announced. This seemed to effectively set everyone off. Carol was going full Captain Marvel with her hair blazing, and Law took a more supportive role. Carol seemed to especially target Starforce members, while Law decided to thin out the cannon fodder.

Deciding this was the perfect time to test out something he always thought was the coolest. He used his greater speed to disappear and reappear behind two unsuspecting victims.

"Requiescat in pace" Law whispered while sending out two waves of grey fire, that seemed to burn just the two unsuspecting Kree soldiers.

'I always wanted to say that. I hope I made Ezio proud' Law thought while looking at the two bodies which burned to nothing in a few seconds. This seemed to draw the attention of everyone in the room; Carol, Starforce members, and the remaining soldiers all took a second to stare at Law in disbelief.

"Can you do that Vers?" Minerva asked starting to feel fear.

"No, but I can do this" Carol said while releasing two light beams from her hands implanting the two closet Starforce member into a wall. With that the fighting resumed, or rather the one-sided massacre.

An unbound and pissed off Carol seemed to do so much more damage than the movie version. Instead of the beams of light that in the movies only seemed to do blunt damage, the beams that Carol released now caused severe burns, and sometimes pierced straight through some of the weaker Kree warriors with inferior armor.

Law didn't have the fighting experience and techniques to go through the soldiers like Madara from Naruto so instead, he used his superior speed and fire blasts to destroy any grunt that seemed to enter his vision while being untouchable.

"Carol, we need to leave, like right now. I can't survive in space, and I definitely don't want to be stuck here when the fleets come." Law yelled as he burned four more foot-soldiers.

"Fine, started running to the Quinjet I'll provide backup fire," Carol yelled while punting the Viking Kree through a wall making an exit.

"Thanks for that" Law said as he jumped through the hole and started navigating his way to the docking port. Just when he reached the hanger, he was surrounded by 10 Kree soldiers.

"Hi, you guys wouldn't happen to believe that I'm your side?" Law asked, kind of hoping that they would believe him.

"...."

"I'll take that as a no." Law quipped as he stomped on the ground releasing a large blast of wind sending the guards and their weapons flying before finishing them off with a blast of fire.

'Well, I really am underestimating my powers huh' Law thought as he opened the Quinjet and quickly entered.

"Carol in the Quinjet hurry up" Law yelled using his wind manipulation to empower his voice.

"I won't be able to make it. Hurry up and leave I'll find another way out." The voice of Carol sounded from far away.

"I hope you have this thought out Aunt Carol," Law said to himself, as he released Fury, Maria, Goose, and Talos told them to start up the Quinjet so they could leave.

Everyone was in the same state that they were when they entered, well almost everyone. Fury was now sporting a blinded right eye that had swollen up with 3 scratch marks on it.

"What happened to Fury," Law asked curiously.

"Goose is a weird tentacle cat that ate the core, Fury tried to get Goose to spit it back out, and Goose scratched him" Maria summed up quickly, earning a glare from Fury.

'I guess some things just don't change' Law thought before explaining their situation to the rest of the group. They quickly understood the severity of the current situation and quickly ready the Quinjet for flight.

Maria and Fury quickly took the front seat, while Law stayed near the entrance firing blasts of grey fire as a deterrent for the incoming enemies. After a moment they were off, and Law finally had a chance to relax after his first real fight.

"Damn that was hell. I'm pretty shit at fighting" Law said clearly seeing the need for unarmed and weapon techniques. As they reached the earth's atmosphere, they were hit by something.

"Fuck we have 2 ships that are attacking us. Wait for a second, only one now, something seems to have taken the other out." Fury informed them thinking while holding onto goose.

"It wasn't something, it was Aunt Carol," Law said while smiling at the fact that she was fine. They then saw a ray of light heading into space, while Maria was doing evasive maneuver's trying to get the other ship off their a**.

After some amazing in air maneuvers, Maria managed to shoot down the plane that was on their heel. When they landed, Law then released the rest of the Skrull from dimension.

Carol mimicked her actions from the movie by destroying all the ships that came in space and was going to send Yon-Rogg off with a message from her. Right before she sent him off, Law forced Yon-Rogg to swear something using his own blood. But that was the only change from the MCU Captain Marvel ending. At the end just like in the movie they all grouped up at Maria's home for a celebratory party.

Now there was only one thing left for Law to do, explain somethings and get everyone to take some oaths.
