Chương 2: The Four Corner Game (Part 1)
It was midnight, the school looks almost like a giant beast sleeping under the moonlight.
The five of us went over the fences, and landed on the school's field.
The only sound surrounding us was the sound of crickets, and our heavy breathing. The tension in the air made us very nervous about what we were going to do ——the four corner game.
There were no special intentions of us playing this game. We just wanted to experience the paranormal through this game.
Two days ago, we heard our classmates played this game and immediately experienced something paranormal. Then we decided to try it out.
Lights were shining through the corridor. The laight made us uncomfortable as it would make us easy to be found wether it's for human or ghosts.
We hid ourselves in the darkness, then only we felt safe.
We skipped the corridor and silently heading towards the new building that was built not long ago.
" Just choose a random classroom, non of them is locked " said Noah.
We went to the last classroom at the end on third floor.
We carefully slide the door open and the strong smell of mud was surrounding the classroom.
The classroom had no windows, the light at the corridor was not strong enough to light up the classroom. It was pitch black inside.
Noah took out a small flashlight, and explored the classroom. The classroom was the shape of a rectangle. It was empty inside, no chairs, no table, nothing.
This was the perfect place to play this game.
Noah, Lucas, Isaac and I went inside and lightly closed the door.
It was pitch black, nothing to be seen in this dark and empty room.
"Don't fall asleep, look out for anything or anyone." said Noah said to Issac that was standing outside the classroom.
"Is everyone clear of the instructions?" said Noah. I nodded.
It's an easy game. In a place that is pitch black, the first person would face the wall as he walks to the other end of the corner. When he reach the other corner, tap on the second person's shoulder as he will move on and the first person would stay at where the second person was.
The fourth person would be doing the same, but there should be no person standing there, if so just cough once and move on to the first person, and keep doing the same.
"Hey...can I talk to you guys while you're playing? It's boring to stand outside alone" said Nick
"Can we talk while we're playing?" asked Isaac.
Noah went silent for a bit and responded " Yeah, sure. Why not."
"If I can't talk, I would probably fall asleep there. I'll just chat a little, it won't bother you guys. It's okay it you don't want to respond." said Nick.
"Okay then, let's start" said Lucas.
