Victor darted to the other house positioned right next to the one the girl, whose name he learned was Julia Mason, was hiding at. In order to set the plan in motion, he had to be located on the other side of the 3 knights. Before running away, he had told Julia to count down from 60 before enacting her part of the plan as he had to be in position and ready to take out the unsuspecting knights.
Slowing to a stop, Victor poked his head out from the end of the house and took the next thirty seconds to check out the situation. As long as things didn't change, the plan could be pulled off pretty easily as the pervy knights would no doubt fall for the bait. Luckily, it didn't appear as if anyone had moved from their original spots. The villagers were still crying as the fire drew ever so closer from behind them and the knights held their spears threateningly at them in order to keep them there. All was perfect with no unexpected factors, meaning that the plan was ready to begin.
As if on cue, out walked Julia from behind the house and began walking towards the three knights who quickly spotted her. Two of them practically ran over to the girl while the last one held his place and continued watching the villagers. This was actually what Victor had been hoping for though as he darted from behind the house. He actually wanted a weapon as he had dropped his other spear somewhere along the way and was only now regretting doing so.
Running up as silently as he could, Victor rapidly approached the unsuspecting guard. Once he was close enough, he jumped up and slammed his foot into the mans temple, putting all of his strength into the blow.
The knight and the spear flew in two different directions, the knight to the left where he landed in an unconscious heap and the spear flew straight ahead before sticking into the ground near the villagers. Some of the demihumans had stopped cowering in fear to look towards Victor, looks of confusion on their faces as they clearly didn't know what was happening. Victor held a finger to his lips as he grabbed the spear and pulled it out of the ground.
Turning his attention back over towards Julia, Victor began stealthily approaching the three of them as quickly as possible. It appeared that the two of the knights were so busy trying to sexually assualt her that they weren't paying any attention to the danger from behind. Julia was fighting them back as they tried to take off her makeshift dress but it was getting increasingly difficult to resist.
Turning his spear around to the wooden blunt end, Victor broke into a run. Using the wooden end as if it was a bat, he swung the rod as hard as he could into the back of the unsuspecting knights head. There was a sickening crack followed shortly by a thud as the body promptly collapsed onto the ground. Without even hesitating, Victor followed up his attack by kicking the other knight away, slamming his foot into the mans throat.
Victor tossed the spear aside and readjusted Julia's dress which had become all messed up. He felt bad that he had to put her through such torment but in such a short time frame it was all he cpuld come up with. Though facing all three of them head on was a possibility, he prefered to with one that had a better chamce for success.
"You okay?" Victor asked as he finished fixing her rucksack despite her embarassment. "I'm sorry I had to put you through that. I didn't expect them to outright try and r*pe you since you were an important slave that wasn't suposed to be violated. I thought they would at least question you long enough for me to take them out."
Julia shook her head. "It was only thanks to Dracon's orders that the others kept their hands off of me. Without Dracon around, they're no better than animals who live to fight and raid. Though they were chosen to be knights due to their combat abilities, theyre knights in name only as they don't bother to protect anyone if it not ocnvenient to them."
"Combat abilities?" Victor looked at each of the collapsed knights in turn. "Could've fooled me as they lack common sense. Hell when I was luring the other knights away before, they didn't seem to be aware of my strategy."
"Being gifted in combat and being smart or having common sense are two totally different things," Julia answered as glanced at the ground. "Besides, all of your attacks thus far have been sneak attacks if you recall."
Victor turned around with a smile. "Well, even though your right, lets just forget about it for now. We don't really have much more time to talk as we still have things to take care of." He walked over to the now approaching group of demihumans with a bright smile.
The group had all stopped cowering in fear and had all begun to move forward, away from the flames. Though the sounds of kids crying could still be heard, the adults seemed to realize that they were being rescued and decided to walk over to them instead of waiting by the fire.
"Welcome one and all to the 74th hunger games where you will all have to fight to the death in order to see who comes out alive." Victor laughed a little before continuing. " I'm just messing with you. We're here to rescue you, if you'll please follow this beautiful elf girl and myself, we can lead you to safety."
The crowd looked hesitant at first, but eventually they began walking behind Victor and Julia who lead the way out of the village. Along the way, Victor had to take on numerous guards who were patrolling, each time having to face two or even three at once. Though it was hard, Julia would heal him if he sustained any damage which allowed him to fight without fear of overdoing it.
It took roughly an hour to escort the demihumans out of the burning village. It was only a 20 minute walk from the center of the village to the outside but due to the fire, the knights, and the dozens of villagers they were leading, it took 3 times as long to arrive.
"Okay, I think this spot should do," Victor said as he stopped a good distance from the village. "You guys need to rest here and make sure to check any wounds you might have. I have something I have to do back at the village real quick."
"Wait, why are you going back?" Julia asked, grabbing the back of his rather burned up shirt. "We just escaped from there. If you go back you could be captured or even killed. Just stay here and they'll leave once the sun fully rises."
"I actually have something that I have to do," Victor said with a small smile. He took her hand that had been grabbing his shirt and held it between both of his own hands. "Plus, capturing me or even killing me is much harder then you'd think. I'll be fine."
Julia looked at her hand which was currently being held and felt certain feelings stirring up in her chest. "Then I'm going with you. Wherever you go, then I'll follow. You have no room to refuse!! The only way your keeping me here is if you kill me!!"
Victor laughed before letting go of her hand. "Sounds a little drastic to me but if thats what you want then its not like I can stop you. Feel free to come along as I'll need your healing anyways. Just try not to slow me down gorgeous."
Julia nodded her head and the two of them began a light jog back towards the village. Without the entire group of demihumans following behind them it took a lot less time to retrace their steps and arrive back at the village center. Julia had no idea what they were looking for but she didnt say anything as Victor continued to lead the way.
Victor traced a path that he found rather familiar and, after backtracking countless times, finally arrived to the place where he had last left the girl.
Now it should be stated that even though Vicotr had lead the way to the spot, he in no way expected the girl to be there or even be alive at all. With all the guards patrolling around and the rapid expansion of the fire, he had expected her to be either captured or killed. It would be too freakin amazing and miraculous to even consider that the fox girls body would even be there let alone have her still breathing even despite everything that had happened to Victor in the short span of 2 or 3 hours.
Fate however seemed to be intent on throwing all logic out the window today as once Victor turned the corner into the alley the fox girl had been left in, she was still there. Furthermore, despite the smoke that was filling the alleyway, the girl seemed to be very much alive and even breathing normally which actually made Victor do a double take because even though it was a fantasy world things like breathing smoke was still something that killed people.
Of course, like everything else that had happened today, Victor pushed everything else aside to attend to the more important things. "Jules, I need you to come over here and unleash your healing magic." While he had been tempted to use an Inuyasha reference, he decided against making jokes at such a serious moment when he began coughing from all the smoke he was currently inhaling.
After Julia spent about a minute healing the fox girl, Victor picked the unconscious demihuman up in a princess carry and began to jog out of the alleyway, or at least as fast as he could go with and extra 120 lbs in his arms. If it wasn't for his 12 years worth of training, he probably wouldn't have been able to pull off what he was doing. Hell, even now he was mainly relying on pure adrenaline and would no doubt be super sore once it wore off.
Julia wasn't too far behind as they once again ran through the alleys of the village, making their way towards the spot where the had left the villagers. It was meant to be an easy journey, a simple matter of escorting a demihuman back to her people, but of course fate seemed to love screwing with Victor and obviously had raging hate boner that was so intense it needed to make a relatively easy task into annoyingly difficult one.
Around the end of the village was when a group of 6 knights lead by Sir Dick Dracon himself appeared to block their path. They all had looks of rage on their faces which was justified as Victor had been downright f*cking them over since the beginning. Dracon seemed the most pissed however and still had dried blood caking the side of his face from where it had leaked from his ear.
"I've been waiting for you, you piece of trash," Dracon said as he raised his own spear. "Its about time that you learned what happens to those who defy the Golden Lion knights. I'll also be taking those two females you have with you. I'm in need of fresh tight p*ssy to sqieeze into!!"
"Umm can we keep this PG? Or at least NOT broadcast that your gonna r*pe them?" Victor turned around and slowly lowered the fox girl to her feet, placing her to where Julia could slip her head under the demihumans arm and hoist her up. "Then again, we can't really call it r*pe since your d*ck isn't big enough to reach anything substantial. Hell you can't even impregnate them because as your currently demonstrating, you don't have any balls!!"
Without looking back Victor addressed Julia. "Okay look, I'm gonna make a passage for you and buy you time to escape. I want you to take the girl to the villagers as fast as you can. I can hold them off for around 30 minutes before they decide that going after me is pointless and decide that your more valuable."
"But then what are you gonna do?" Julia asked as she struggled to keep standing with the fox girls body. She wasn't exactly strong but she wasn't entirely weak either and could probably carry the girl all the way to the other group. "Do you have a plan to escape?"
"No time to worry about that," Victor answered. "I'm going to count to three and then we'll begin the plan. Those guys aren't gonna wait and the only reason they're waiting now is because their leader is being cautious."
Without even waiting for Julia's answer, Victor began the countdown. "Three...two....ONE!!!!"
It was just around when Victor shouted the number 1 that a huge creature that could only be described as a dragon landed from out of nowhere, crushing Dick Dracon underneath its foot.
