Under the blazing sun, I did not know how I dragged my lifeless body out of the mansion. After almost being thrown out of my place, I did not know what to do. The people I knew in Mumbai were almost countable on my fingers, and at the moment there was not a single one whom I could ask for help.

My first option was Arjun, but sadly he was not in the city. And, I did not know where he lived. Even if I knew it, I would not have gone to his place after what I had just heard.

My mother-in-law and that woman, both of them were not ready to listen to me. After the accusation and hurtful words they threw out, I had no desire to explain. I even failed to understand when and how I left the house and found myself sitting on the bench by the roadside.
