Chương 18: A new opportunity
I couldn't sleep for a long time.
Thought were juggling in. my head.
so I really ended up looking like a zombie in the morning.
I was half asleep throughout this day and thanks to Arjun the bruises in my hand now dark .
I had long dark finger marks all over my hand.
Thank god Sakshi was the first one to see it and she told me to cover it up because if our warden sees it she would ask hundreds of questions and I was not even to ready to answer one question let alone a hundred.
Sakshi had a long sleeved dress ,she lend me that dress.
Sakshi took me to the school practically dragged me to school because as I said before I was half asleep.
During that time I bumped into a lot of walls,chairs and Arjun.
I think Sakshi did that deliberately but the outcome surely awakened me for the day.
After bumping into him I started to fall but as usual he took my hand and stopped me from falling but the bruises in my hand started to hurt so I threw his hands away and walked away from him .
Sakshi and I went to our class room .
After our classes were over we went to our school hall because our principal announced that our school is having a dance competition for charity so every school in our state is participating if our school wins that competition then our principal would beat the other schools principle in school management.
Sakshi was very excited so as usual she also dragged me into that competition.
we both enrolled in the competition.
when I was in juvenile home I learnt some dance forms from my friend Sakhi because she was a street dancer, that's going to help me now.
It was a couple dance competition but we don't get to choose our partners our dance teacher will pair the best dancers only three pairs of dancers were selected but only one pair from each school was going into this competition so the teacher auditioned us first and I ,Shama and a girl from our class got selected and from boys Arjun , one of his friends and a boy from ourdepartment got selected.
our dance teacher told us that each girl will dance with each boy and then the pair which have better chemistry will be selected for dance.
So our dance teacher first paired me with the Ravi from our department and Sagar (Arjun's friend) with Priya ( the girl from my class) and Shama with Arjun.
we danced but the pairs didn't worked out well because Arjun somehow managed to through shame on the floor so sir changed our pairs now I was paired up with Sagar and Shama was paired up with Ravi and Priya was paired up with Arjun.
But this pair also didn't work out because Ravi was too afraid to dance with Shama.
so sir changed our pairs again now Shama was paired up with Sagar and Priya was paired up with Ravi and I was paired up with Arjun.
we danced like we're in a sync so sir selected us from the three pairs.
Shama was pissed so she left the hall first then Sagar left and after them Ravi and Priya Congratulated us and they also left.
Our dance teacher told us to practice a little more and he also left.
Inly Arjun and I was alone in that big hall.
we practiced as we were told.
it was like time stopped for us.
