Raine's eyes widened in surprised as she looked down at the spot where Serefina had stabbed her. She could not see what it was, but its tip was slowly disappearing into her body, until nothing could be seen.
The weirdest thing was, Raine did not feel any pain at all, but she did feel something warm spread on her chest to her body, reaching to the tip of her fingers.
"What are you doing…?" Raine was flabbergasted. She touched the spot where it had penetrated her body. "What was that thing?" Raine could not feel it any longer. She looked at Serefina in horror. "Say something!"
Serefina rolled her eyes as if tired with Raine's exaggerated reaction. "Look around you." She said lazily.
Only then did Raine realize that she was not in the dining room anymore, although she did recognize this place.
They were in the dessert that Raine had visited when she travelled back to ancient time before. This was the place that bordered the city of angels.
