Like everything else in life, Mo Qingchen and Qian Meng were proactive. They were sitting at the hospital waiting room a day after their conversation.
Both of them had done a comprehensive health check-up already and Qian Meng was on her way to get her gynocological tests done. Having finished his part, Mo Qingchen patted her back.
"Get used to the cold gel. We might have to do a lot of ultrasounds in the near future," he said calmly.
Qian Meng quirked her brow. "You looked up the cold gel, too?" she snickered.
"That and the intrusive checkups that are uncomfortable." He frowned.
"Those…" she groaned, remembering.
"It's part of life."
And when she was getting her consultation, Mo Qingchen sat ramrod straight as if he was in the principal's office. Qian Meng was almost sure that he would pull out a notebook to write down every word the doctor said.
This chapter comes from a true story. Not mine, of course, but someone in my family. The doctor told them not to get their hopes high, but they pretty much destroyed all expectations. The mechanical precision is MQC's fault though. What do you think?
