"It's just a question," Czernobog told him enigmatically as the eyes behind the fox mask were suddenly visible, and Homura Ryuu stepped back. "So you wouldn't blame me if you have regrets later."
"Regrets?" The Koutaishidenka raised one raven eyebrow at the enemy. "My only regret was not recovering my memories."
"Memories?" The Black God let out a peal of laughter. "Then shouldn't that be enough reason for you to worry?" she mocked before shifting on her feet, her voice lowering in an ominous tone. "Just don't say I didn't warn you…"
At her words, Ryuu hesitated a bit. He didn't know why, but there was something about those words that bothered him greatly. It felt like a cold hand had brushed his heart and his chest filled with dread, and he frowned as he tried to understand why.
