Chương 22: The portal

When we were arriving to King's Cross Station Odin had to ask something.

Odin- (Rainy, the portal won't be small. Can you ask some of your friends to lend us a place to use it?)

Rainy- (sure) err... guys. Have any of you an empty place to create an interdimensional portal?

Harry- with me it's impossible, my uncle would never allow it.

Ron- my mother can be a little overprotective. If you tell her what are you going to do, she will try anything so that you stay on our house instead.

Rainy- hmm, and your parents Hermione?

Hermione- well, they should let you but it's me who doesn't want you to go...

Rainy- please... i need a safe place, because it's were i'll be back at the end of the summer.

Hermione- we can talk to them... but i won't promise anything.

Rainy- sure, thanks!

So after that we arrived to King's Cross Station, we had to go back through the wall again, so we went on pairs, and when we were at the other side, we met with Ron's mother and little sister. His mother was called Molly, and his little sister was Ginny, and i can tell that Ginny has a crush on Harry... and talking of Harry, we also saw his Uncle Vernon. I have to say that he does have that look that says '' i'm an asshole and i try to hide it... but not too much''. Anyway, after Ron and Harry are gone, i begun to follow Hermione, and not much later we found her parents. She ran to hug them and when i arrived...

Hermione- ...Mom, Dad, can we let Rainy here use our living room for some magic?

Mrs Granger- but you can't do magic out of school right?

Hermione- well... it's not the school magic. It's a little long to explain but long story short, she need a place to use a portal to were she'll be spending the summer. And it needs to be safe because she will come back on the same spot.

Mrs Granger- i see. All of this world of magic is pretty amazing. In any case, of course she can, as long as it's not dangerous

Hermione- Rainy, is it dangerous?

Rainy- (Odin, is it dangerous)

Odin- (no, as long as they don't enter with you, or they will have to spend the summer on the other world too.)

Rainy- the only thing dangerous is if you enter with me... because i can't open another portal until the end of summer, and it's a fairly dangerous place. But the portal will appear on a wall so, it's fairly easy to not enter.

Mr Granger- fairly dangerous? Why are you going to a dangerous place?

Rainy- i'm a special type of witch that can only get stronger by facing dangerous situations, so i'm going to train for the summer.

Mrs Granger- but why an eleven? Years old girl has to train this intensive?

Rainy- yes,it's eleven until the 3 of august. And it's because some cultist assassins are after my head or something like that...

Mrs Granger- What!? Hermione, can you explain a little more?

Hermione- well, if i've gotten it right it's something like...

And then she proceeded to tell them the death eaters history more or less, and my fight versus their leader.

Hermione- so now, you-know-who is probably after her head...

Mrs Granger- That's horrible! But he won't find you on the other side of the portal, right?

Rainy- imposible, he can't go were i'm going.

Hermione-... Rainy, let me talk with my parent on private a little.

Rainy- ?? sure, go ahead.

After that i separated a little, and i saw that they were chatting normally, but then her parents looked worried? And then really serious. After some more chatting they were really really worried, and by the time they ended the chat, they called me, being somewhat relieved but still worried.

Mrs Granger- Rainy, do you know if it will be dangerous for you?

Rainy- well it should if i push myself hard enough, but technically i'll be one of the strongest beings on the place. Why?

Hermione- because i'm going with you!

Rainy- no.

Hermione- why!? i'll be fine with you, and i can help you if the situation requires it!

Rainy- i'm not letting you go to a dangerous place like that. That's definitive. You have no gain in risking your life. I'll become stronger, but you won't. Why should you go? And if you tell me it's to know i'll be fine... what about your parents? They will be more worried about not seeing their daughter all summer!

Hermione- but, but...

Rainy- i can find other places to put the portal. I don't know how dangerous that place is, so i can't let you come.

Hermione- That's the problem!! you don't know how dangerous is and yet you go! I can't possibly overlook that!

Rainy- ok, ok, let me think of something... (ugh what should we do now Odin?)

Odin- (this plan seemed to be nice, but i've been thinking lately, and i technically only need a week on the other world to be able to create the portal item. So if we put the portal to let you both back in a week, you can then go freely to the other world)

Rainy- that's amazing!

Hermione- ? what is?

Rainy- i can create an item to come back freely from the other world in a week there! That could solve almost all of the problems!

Hermione- and how did you discovered that right now?

Rainy- well, i have a guardian, or something like that, on my head. And is he who is going to create the portal, and the item. He just told me that.

Hermione- ... it doesn't affect me that much anymore your lack of common sense even for the wizarding world...

Rainy- i know, hehe.

Mrs Granger- i couldn't understand half of that but you can come back in a week?

Rainy- that's the plan.

Mrs Granger- hmm, then i have no problems if Hermione goes with you. But you both have to come back, you hear me?

Rainy/Hermione- Yes!

When that was settled we went to Hermione's house and we spent the day there to rest and let Hermione be with her parents.

Rainy- Hermione, you come this week but after you see that i'll be ok, i'll continue the summer there alone, ok? I want you to pass more time with your parents.

Hermione- hmm well, we'll discuss that later. Maybe we can go as a family summer vacation to that world...

Rainy- whatever suits you but i don't think it's that safe the place...

[The next day]

We were on the living room, i was looking to the wall, and then i told Odin to open the portal. When it appeared, it was amazing. A blue Vortex-like portal with some kind of ominous aura.

Rainy- cool...

Hermione- are you not afraid?

Rainy- please, it was my idea. How can i be afraid? Let's just hope that is true that nothing bad can happen during the journey.

Hermione- *glup*

Rainy- you can stay, you know that?

Hermione- no! I'm going!

Rainy- sure... then let's go!

And after that we both jumped inside the portal. It was really weird but felt like what the books says about apparitions. Just that it went for almost a minute. And after that, we appeared on a forest.
