{MIN Y/N'S POINT OF VIEW}
"Y/N, don't worry, your brother and the boys will call and inform you about what happened." My grandpa said to calm me as I paced around the room.
"No, I can't just sit here. I feel useless. I want to help, but I don't how. Yoongi hyung won't even let me help." I complained to my grandpa. He's the only I can talk to, well besides my hyung. But when I talk to grandpa, I can talk without fear, but hyung isn't like that. He's quick to jump to conclusions.
"I know that dear, but you know, all Yoongi does is to protect you and make sure you don't get hurt. Do whatever you want, but don't let Yoongi's effort go in vain." He said. I nodded in agreement, but I needed to do something.
"But hal-abeoji, how could I convince hyung to let me help him?" I asked.
"I don't know, just be there for him when he needs support." He said before closing his eyes and entering deep sleep.
I replied with a hmm for his answer, but he was not conscious to hear me. I went back to analyze the events that happen on the night of the incident. His mom was the person who got shot. He was dragged out out the venue, unconscious, while strong arms dragged me out of there. The next day, his father was mysteriously found dead. It's been 4 days that Jungkook's been missing, his mom's in the hospital and his father's death. Hyung's been to the police station every day. His father's body was still stored in the mortuary. The door opened behind me and hyung came out, dressed and had a mask on his face. "Hyung, where are you going?" I asked.
"To the police station." He said, not even bothering to stop and look at me while talking or asking if I wanted to go.
"Hyung, I want to go with you," I said, looking at the kitchen, which was on the right of the door.
"Why?" He stopped to look at me and scowled.
"Because I want to help you, hyung. I know how much Jungkook means to you, but he's the closest friend I have and I want to help find him, just as much you guys want to find him. Please, hyung, I know I can help." I tried to sound as pleasing as I could.
"No, Y/N, you will not get tangled in this mess." He growled.
"But hyung…"
"No buts. I won't let you get hurt in any way. We don't know if the case could be intentional or not, but if it is, you won't get close to it." His voice went deeper than it usually is. Whenever hyung's voice was deeper than normal, that meant he was very mad.
"Hyung, you're in this, too. Whatever happens in this case, I'll be by your side. Always, I won't get away from your sight. That way nothing bad could happen to me." I tried to sound convincing but since hyung's voice was deeper than normal, I spoke in a very hushed tone and I wondered if he could hear me.
"Fine you promise to stay in my sight and not get yourself into trouble, you can come along." He said, turning around to grab the knob of the front door and paused after opening it while I ran to get my purse, that was placed on the dining table.
~~~~~~~~
"It's not going to be ok. He's been missing for 4 days, his mom is in the hospital and his father's dead. All of this happened in one night, and you still have the audacity of saying that it isn't suspicious and though it is, this isn't enough evidence for you to go investigate this?" Namjoon hyung tried to suppress his voice and tone from getting too rough since he was talking to the police, not a friend of his.
"Calm down, shouting won't do us any good. It'll just get us into some more shit." Hyung stared at Namjoon hyung, hoping to see a change in him, clearly to succeed in doing so.
He's going to be fine and we will find him no matter what, have faith in us and all those helping us. I wanted to say, but there was no point in giving him false hope. He needs something better than false hope: strength for the rest of the group.
"If you won't help us, we'll do what we need to do this in a better way than you guys. I know we'll get leads faster than you can sniff a dried handkerchief and tell that it has blood on it." Jin hyung threaten-said.
"Let's go, we'll just figure it out on our own," Namjoon hyung said, and we all left the police station, each leaving a piece of our hope of finding our lost friend again, unknowingly.
Eh, didn't really need this chapter, but here it is.
