Bai Yun stepped out of the town and ran towards the ever green hills. Once he entered the forest, he hid in the shadows and moved carefully. He didn't know where the danger was coming from. The malice his god devil sense was warning of seemed to be all around him. But he slowly moved towards the direction it felt the deepest.

At first, Bai Yun thought that the danger was coming from the valley, but he realised that the direction was a little off. He was heading more towards one of the hills rather than the valley.

Bai Yun stepped onto the hill very carefully. As a dangerous place with nascent soul beasts, he had never been here. But soon after he entered the hill he felt that something was wrong. The hill was strangely silent. There was no sound to be heard anywhere, not even the that of small critters. This was highly unusual for a forest.

Step by step he climbed the hill. He had made it up about halfway up the hill before he stopped suddenly.
