CHAPTER 1- New Apartment
"Here's the kitchen and that's the bedroom. if you don't like the furniture here I can ask someone to move them out. The room color is not really that feminine I hope you won't mind. And Here's the apartment lease contract You can sign it now but you can also think about it. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask me and if you don't mind this cat visits here often, don't worry the cat is vaccinated so nothing to worry about." The granny said smiling to me as she handed a manila envelope where the contract is and a pen.
"I really don't mind." I answered her politely.
I signed the contract and returned it to her. She gave me the apartment key and said that I can start moving my things here tomorrow.
After our transaction. I started walking to the bus station.
I really don't like walking on the streets not because I'm lazy. It's too crowded and what I really hate about walking on the streets is that a lot of them are here, waiting to be notice. Some have lost their body parts and are trying to find them by asking anyone around them. Some are crying or laughing at the humans who cannot see them.
I continued walking not minding their presence.
"sister you've seen it too right? she just avoided me." The young boy said to a girl beside him.
"Maybe yes maybe not, I really don't care" Said the girl who is now wiping the blood on her forehead.
"What If she can help us? " The boy said while looking at me with his eyes full of hope.
What I really don't like about them is that when they know you can see them they can be desperate and won't stop following you till they get what they want and sometimes they can be oppressive too.
Like now the young boy is following me I just continued walking till I reach the bus station.
I've been used to this kind of situation since I had that accident.
"Young miss I know you can see me you just avoided me a while ago. Can you help me and my sister? Please young miss." The young boy said crying to me but I just pretend I didn't see him I really have the urge to help him but after that incident 14 years ago I wouldn't take risk. Once is enough twice is too much.
Luckily the bus arrived and my phone rings.
The young boy didn't follow me anymore.
*someone's calling someone's calling*
"Hello? "
"Hello Hyunah are you really sure you don't need my help? "
"Don't worry Ayana I can handle this and besides I don't have a lot of things with me. "
"Okay if you need anything don't hesitate to call me you know I'm only one call away I'll be there to save the day. Hahaha"
"Thank you for worrying. "
"Sorry Hyunah Need to end this manager is calling me already. See you later" then she ended the call.
Ayana and I are best friends ever since we were young her mother and mine are both models, but she doesn't know I can see ghosts. I didn't tell her not because I don't trust her I just don't like sharing this burden.
Sometimes there are really things that you can't tell other people not because you don't trust them but the fear of hurting them and not all the things can be shared you need to keep some for yourself.
