Chương 19: Womanizer
"No thank you. You should carry on." She contemplated how she meeting old known people and she frowned.
Even after giving cold shoulders to him, Karl kept on insisting her to join.
With no choice left, she agreed and was about take bags to move to his table, Karl helped her.
Sky sat opposite to Karl and his date. She gave her a nod as hello with a faint smile.
Karl arranged a fresh plate for her and ordered a few more dishes. Then he introduced her to his date.
"Sky, she is my girlfriend Mian Sen. Mian she is Sky, My friend's friend... My friend too." At the end of the introduction, he gave a cheeky smile which disgusted Sky.
Sky could only smile and greet Mian, "Hi Mian."
Karl Milet was a womanizer. He was good looking but a forgetful face too. He changed girlfriends faster than the new moon changing to the full moon.
He was university mate of Andy, That's how he got to know Sky. Andy always got irritated when he got to know Sky spoke to Karl.
They started their dinner but Karl kept chattering non-sense and was asking questions to Sky in between.
Sky lost her appetite but tried her best to stay calm and answered.
"Business suit, Where are you working now?"
"Harley."
"That's big. You must be earning well to dress like this daily. Not bad.", He was impressed.
Sky smirked but didn't feel the necessity to say anything.
"Sky, Why don't I see any of your activity in social media?"
"I'm not using them."
"Oh! Are you not even using the same number in messenger, I didn't find you there too."
"I have deleted my account in messenger."
"Did you change your number? why didn't you tell me?"
"I haven't."
Even if she kept her short and vaguely answered, he still sounded excited to know about her.
'Even if I change, why do I have to tell you?' Sky thought to herself.
Any idiot could tell from her response that she was not interested to talk but that idiot didn't care.
"Let me check, I'm calling you now. Don't be embarrassed if its a lie."
He fished his phone to dial as he heard her saying "Sure, go on."
Her mobile started ringing which showed 'Karl' contact name. He was amused to see his name. He thought after Andy's marriage, She left the country and changed her number.
To his surprise, he bumped into her and she had his number. He wanted to mock her for being with Andy and ignoring him when he tried to get close to her.
He slowly moved the topic towards marriage and started looking at her expression.
"Do you have a Boyfriend? You don't look married." He had a smug look on his face.
Sky guessed long back why he asked to have dinner with them, "Why don't I look like married?"
