They stopped!

Their qis circulated their entire bodies, and they struck forward with their palms.

Two powerful waves of qi charged ruthlessly into the area with the thick smoke. 

Most of the thick smoke was instantly blown away by the wind. 

But these two were rendered speechless again. At the instant they attacked, they could clearly hear the sound of something breaking through air from another direction. 

They originally thought that this was another one of Orochimaru's tricks. 

But when the smoke dissipated, they noticed that Orochimaru had already turned around and went back the way he came. In one breath, he charged 165 feet up, and now, he was near the top of the tower!
