Will infused his Armament, Sharpness, Conductivity, Malleability and Ductility concepts into his sword while his First Point Perspective greedily took in all of the opponent's killing intent with ease.
Lisa could hold on no longer and swung her blade down straight at Will with unrestricted momentum!
Great Valkyrie's Blade was one of the most powerful attacks within the Asgard Series of the Frozen Asgard Arts. It required a large amount of energy reserves, Truth and complex spell-casting to complete. Normally, none of these ladies could cast such a spell under level 100, but today, in their special synchronized state, they were able to channel their strengths into Lisa and combine to form a formidable attack
As the giant sword swung down, Will also made his own movements. He restricted his area to the radius around him and focused all his available energy onto a singular point. The string of energy coming out of the tetragranium katana was moving about like a ribbon fluttering in chaotic winds, but the loud sword hum coming from Unbound Vector was more than enough to warn others about its lethality.
Before striking his Unbound Vector, Will used his free hand to release a weak blade light that surrounded Achilles and Lyra. The blade light was infused with Solitude that protected them from the environment, but they were not isolated from light and thus were still able to see what was happening around them.
Once Will had secured his underlings, he took one more deep breath and focused on his foes. The Breath of Solitude was still active, and this breath was going to be Will's last during this battle as his body could no longer handle the strain of having so many energies pass through him. Hence, with a single step, Will struck forth!
The Unbound vector, propelled by the concept of Ductility, stretched to a length of dozens of meters, yet it maintained the same velocity and sharpness.
Mid-swing, the long string left a trail of light, becoming more like a crescent moon blade strike, courtesy of the Malleability concept.
As soon as the Unbound Vector and Great Valkyrie's Blade met, a resounding burst of energy swept out, threatening to level the entire riverbank.
Achilles' running had increased the diameter of the riverbank, but the poison was slowly creeping back into the clearing and had regained some ground.
Deep dense Truth from the blade and Unbound Vector had spread out widening the gap in the riverbank even more, as the excess energy from the collision proved to be a bit too much for the environment to handle.
Achilles and Lyra were spared from the large energy blast thanks to a timely application of Solitude by Will, isolating the duo from the blade radius. Meanwhile, Will had entered a deadlock with the ladies as his Unbound Vector was stuck in a deadlock with the Great Valkyrie's Blade!
The two attacks, one a blade light made up of a torrent of different energies, and the other a large blade that seemed to have been forged by the gods, continued to fight for supremacy in the skies above the cultivators.
Lisa and her sisters gritted their teeth as they poured every ounce of their being into the attack. For them, just like Will, this attack was the last they could dish out. The reason they rarely used Great Valkyrie's Blade was not simply due to the difficulty of the attack, but also due to the fact that they would be running on fumes afterwards, barely able to battle.
Will's attack was domineering, but the combined efforts of the Frozen Asgard maidens were not to be taken lightly. Their ability to cast synchronized spells like this was what allowed the sect to value them as a unit, allowing them to stand on a similar stage with Natasha and Francis. But never would they have expected to meet a cultivator who could meet their strongest attack spell single handedly.
Even Natasha, a Savant capable of even troubling Ulysses Rijkaard, would have to use valuable treasures and weapons to resist their combined attacks under Lyra's Elemental Affinity buff. Yet all the swordsman had used was a seemingly ordinary sword. Granted he was using high-end skills and abilities, but this image was too difficult to come to terms with.
To make matters worse, Will laughed in hysteria as he saw that their attack was able to block his own. He seemed like a child who had found the most amusing toy in the world. His carefree demeanour and lack of fear unsettled the girls quite a bit. Nevertheless, the ladies did not relent. They continued to fight it out, hoping that the large steel blade they had summoned could make a difference, alas time was not on their side. In the middle of their class, a surge of weakness passed through everyone on the battlefield.
The source of this surge of weakness was clear to everyone present. Elemental Affinity was over!
The maidens struggled to reconcile their reduced affinity to the metal element as their affinity returned back to normal levels. This affected them greatly as the reduced affinity meant that they had to make adjustments to their spell while it was still active to account for this change.
Nevertheless, the ladies were still hopeful, because Will relied more on just Elemental Affinity to battle them. Call of The Forest and Mana Pool connection had been active, and just like Elemental Affinity, they were cancelled out, leaving Will feeling much more vulnerable.
Will's originally stable Unbound Vector seemed to lose a bit of steam as it shrivelled at a speed visible to the naked eye. The Frozen Asgard Maidens were thrilled at this sight and hoped that the attack would dwindle, allowing their blade to cleave through Will. Alas, the latter had different thoughts.
'Compared to Negative Feedback Adjustment or going through Odin's metamorphosis, this pain is nothing.'
Will snorted as he opened 3 Doors in quick succession. He no longer had high metal element affinity, but he still had 3 Doors he had yet to open! With each successive Door opening, the originally dwindling Unbound Vector seemed to regain vitality and grow. Until it regained its original size and strength!
The fact that their opponent was capable of opening 7 Doors was horrifying. Doors were meridians that controlled energy quantity and rate of flow. They signified one's talent in cultivating to later stages. If one was capable of opening 7 Doors before level 100, then there was a good chance of them reaching level 200!
Natasha, Ulysses, Gianluigi and Mercedes belonged to this category. Lydia, Palmer, Julius, Titus and Francis could only open 5 to 6 Doors at best, while these Maiden's maximum was only four. Nevertheless, they were still counted as being prodigies.
'Sisters, keep going! Opening Doors will deplete his energy reserves even sooner! He no longer has the large Mana Pool to draw energy from!'
The other maidens agreed and kept on their struggle. They believed that regardless of how many doors he opened, he was only accelerating the depletion of his energy reserves.
Will snickered in response and took out a pill from his storage ring. It was the same type of Pill that he had given Lyra earlier on for replenishing his mana.
The girls watched on in confusion as they believed that this was a pointless action, after all, no one could absorb a pill in mid-battle. But Will took an action that made them realize a crucial detail they had missed, a detail that could tip the scales in Will's favour. Simply put, all Will did was take a deep breath!
