Achilles on the other side of the battlefield, was starting to build up momentum so frightening winds started to kick up around him. It was as if he was a small cyclone extending outwards. Indeed, the radius of the circle created by Achilles' Macedonian Charge laps was increasing steadily with each lap. If one watched from above, it was like watching the eye of a storm expand
Achilles' Macedonian Charge was fuelled with Truth and allowed him to dispel the poison around him with ease, so he was effectively increasing the diameter of the clearing. Within a few minutes, the clearing had almost tripled in terms of area and was increasing. The trail of light Achilles left behind did not dissipate and acted like a wall of Truth that blocked out the poison, preventing it from re-entering the clearing while Achilles charged ahead, destroying trees, rocks and countless Banshees hidden in the fog.
Thousands of Mourning Banshees and tens of thousands of Wailing Banshees were hiding within the miasma, but they were not involved in the 4th wave and instead remained hidden in the mist. Now, however, Achilles' movements heralded death for the soul-type creatures as they died in dozens with each moment.
Achilles was a combination of an unstoppable razing force and an indomitable unbreakable shield, protecting the centre from the poison and mobs outside.
'Agonised Banshees can consume weaker Banshees to replenish strength. They can also gather elemental strength from the poisonous miasma around them. By doing this, not only can I prevent the creature from getting stronger, but I can also farm a ludicrous amount of experience.'
Achilles was thrilled as he bulldozed through the weaker banshees within the miasma. The banshees could not retreat because they were afraid of disobeying the Agonised Banshee and had no choice but to remain like sheep awaiting slaughter.
Achilles, and Lyra by extension, experienced a tremendous flood of experience the likes of which they have never felt before. They were sure that once they became a Nation Lord and passed the level 100 level cap, they would be able to rise by multiple levels with the banked experience.
The Agonised Banshee abandoned striking at Solitary after realising that it could not attack anyone else. It was aware of how Will seemed to relish death-type energy, hence it hesitated on attacking him with it. Its death energy was its main weapon because almost all living creatures were affected by it in a horrendous fashion.
'He can't be perfectly immune. But he also doesn't seem to have cultivated any death-type skills, yet he also seems proficient in death energy to a certain degree. So what is he doing with my energy?'
The Agonised Banshee realized that its killing intent was being pulled toward Will like a magnet, making it impossible for it to harm anyone else besides him. It had an intuitive feeling that made it feel as if increasing distance wouldn't make much of a distance when dealing with this intent absorption.
"Human….what…have…you…done…to….me!"
The Banshee roared angrily as it pointed at Will. The latter shrugged his shoulders as frigid yin qi started to gather around him, "Let's just say I have this weird ability to piss idiots off. It runs in my family you see."
As Will spoke, his silvery-white hair changed to a pale white colour while his blue pupils turned grey. The aura of cold and death around Will started to gather and concentrate, changing his entire disposition to that of a frigid individual unaffected by worldly affairs.
'So this is what happens when he fully releases his yin-type physique!'
Lyra could not help by marvel at what was taking place. Physiques were bodies that were inclined towards a certain attribute. If one activated the innate ability of their physique, it was usually accompanied by some sort of transformation.
Yin and Yang-type physiques were among the most common types, but they were still quite valuable as they ensured that one's energy had a polarised nature. Polar physiques came with different variations. Yin energy was far more common in women than in men and also came with odd abilities often related to cold and dark type abilities.
Physiques were something one could acquire by consuming high-level resources or they could be something one was born with. They often had to do with genetic factors and were found in one out of every 5 or so people, depending on the level of bloodlines in that world. Most physiques were useless, especially without the correct cultivation method and would rarely result in anything other than the owner of that physique being called talented.
For example, one could be born with a speed-type physique that made them fast, but if they were obese from birth or avoided sports in general, then they would remain invisible to the masses. If one had a physique attuned to mana manipulation, their talent wouldn't manifest into anything aside from having a high IQ and memory.
Will was born with a basic yin physique, this was one of the reasons he was able to have two yin elements in water and metal within his body without suffering much from cultivation deviation. However, his yin physique properly surfaced thanks to the pure yin seed he had received from the King of Titans. Were it not for this seed, his basic yin physique would have only resulted in him having traits such as being cold-resistant or having a calmer mind than the average person. After that, the quality of his physique increased once more thanks to consuming the vessel-improving pills he had been gifted by Wodin.
Now, his yin-type physique had reached a level that even those from Middle Worlds had to admire! But this was not all.
Tendrils of Swordforce coiled around Will's sword as a high-pitched screech emanated from the blade he held. His frigid aura quickly manifested a sharp edge to it that made observers feel as if just looking could get one cut. This was Will's other inherent ability, his Swordborn constitution!
Constitutions were spiritual traits one was inherently born with related to specific Dao. They could not be given or taken away in any way. They could only be cultivated and grew with familiarity. Constitutions could not be upgraded by external resources and could only be improved by assiduous training and practice. One's disposition toward their talent also affected the outcome.
For Swordborn, their desire to use a sword influenced how great of a swordsman they could be as they were those whose spirits were naturally in tune with the Dao of the sword. This was why external resources were useless while internal actualization was more of a factor.
Both Yin-type physiques and Swordborn constitutions were commonly associated with the water and metal elements, but Will was more interested in their relationship with the metal element at this moment, especially due to Metal Elemental Focus being in effect.
Will felt the sword in his hand become restless as countless trajectories he could swing his blade in appeared in his line of sight. Will felt so powerful in that moment that he almost lost himself for a moment in a fit of bloodlust. He desperately desired to cut something at that moment, but the Yin physique helped calm him down.
Yang-type cultivators were typically hot-headed and intuitive while yin-type cultivators were more logical and apathetic. Nevertheless, there were odd exceptions to these things, as the 3 vessels could host a multitude of talents that affected each other greatly.
The Agonised Banshee was unhappy seeing Will strengthen himself without even caring for its presence. It ordered the other banshees to enter the circle of Metalos Blades through the gap and attack Will. It wanted to use them to test the waters as its intuition told it that Will was more dangerous than he appeared.
'Since you want all of our attention, you will get it.'
The Agonised Banshee gave the order, and the Devastated Banshees flooded the gap between the Matalos Blade, rushing straight at Will while screeching. Will's killing intent had thoroughly agitated the creatures and they could not wait to get rid of it.
Within seconds, the creatures had arrived within ten meters of Will's position but the latter didn't seem to even make a single move. Despite the fact that Will had not moved a single inch, the Agonised Banshee only felt even more uncomfortable at his inaction. At this point, a few dozen Devastated Banshees had entered the enclosure and one was about to strike at Will's figure when the unthinkable occurred!
