Xi Long stared at Zhuang Wei when the apology was spoken, while Wei could lie at the drop of a coin he was better at reading his cues. He wanted to see if this was a genuine apology or if it was something said to drop the matter. Thankfully, this time the apology seemed from the heart and it eased the tension on his heart. 

"Fine....I'll accept this apology and forgive you this time...." Patting Wei's back, he got up from his spot on the floor and was ready to leave the room. As he did, he saw that Wei was also going to get up. 

"Wait wait why are you getting up?" Xi Long's voice was neutral but he held back the mischievous smile that was threatening to peek out. It was obvious why they were getting up but was he going to let it happen? No. Of course not. He was a forgiving person but a punishment was a punishment.

"You forgave me so why should I not get up?" Wei dropped his knees back onto the durian and winced at the rough texture pressing into his skin.
