Jason went back to school after he finished his coffee.
He was headed toward the bedroom when he crashed into a person.
"Out of the way, trash" The other person tried to push him to one side.
The boy was surprised when he saw that he couldn't push Jason. His eyes narrowed when he saw who the person he had crashed into was.
"Tch" He snorted and left without saying anything else.
Jason frowned. He knew the boy he had bumped into before. They had already had several bumps in the past.
Zack Windsor was Elisabeth's older brother and England's oldest prince. Despite being the eldest son, he was not the successor to the king. The reason for this was because of his younger sister, Elisabeth Windsor.
Elisabeth Windsor had been born with a Longinus, Alphecca Tyrant. If any member of the royal family inherited this Longinus, he or she declared himself directly as heir to the throne.
The first time Jason crossed paths with Zack, he seemed to be just an arrogant prince. But he was an ordinary human. Zack had no power.
Jason hadn't paid much attention to it because of this. But now, Jason's instincts were giving him a different feeling.
"What a filthy bloody aura," Jason muttered.
Although this seemed strange to Jason, he didn't give it much importance. The power Zack currently possessed was nowhere near to make him feel threatened. Maybe he had started some specialized training for the royal family.
Jason was back on his way to the bedroom. He didn't take long to get to his room.
Entering the room, he saw Arthur reading his favorite knights comic.
Arthur glanced sidelong at him, he nodded in recognition and refocused his attention on the comic.
Jason entered the bathroom, opening the shower and letting the water flow. He undressed and went inside.
He took his hand to the left chest. His six command spells were still there.
"Good thing I canceled the spell before spending two of my command spells, it would have been a great a loss," Jason sighed.
Jason then took his hand to his right chest. Nekohime's bite mark was still there.
Jason felt complicated emotions seeing the bite that Nekohime gave him. He had tried to heal the bite, but it had been impossible.
Jason realized that the bite had a profound meaning, but he had no idea what it meant. He still doubted a few words Nekohime had said to him before biting him.
"A second heart, what did you mean by that?" Jason wondered.
Not only that. Jason had also noticed that his flames had changed slightly and he knew that the trial he had passed thanks to Nekohime had something to do with it.
"Maybe I should visit her?"
"No, it wouldn't be a punishment in that case. I'm sorry for Nekohime, but she has had the bad luck to make a mistake and on top of that a serious one, a faction needs some rules to be able to regulate the actions of the members. Fortunately, she was not aware of what she had put me through and the fact that she was putting me in danger. I guess the answers can wait nine months."
Jason dried up and came out of the bathroom after putting on his pajamas. Arthur was already sleeping and had left the light on. Jason turned off the light and went to bed.
Arthur opened his eyes. He seemed to be doubting something. Arthur decided to do as Elisabeth had told him, however much he was worried about his friend he couldn't do anything if Jason didn't tell him his problems.
Jason was not centered. Everyone noticed that he was distracted or thinking about something most of the time.
Jason, Akeno, Elisabeth and Arthur were eating in the cafeteria. Akeno and Elisabeth were having a lively conversation as usual while Arthur contributed to the discussion from time to time.
"Professor Smith is very cruel in sending us so much homework, what do you think, Jason?" Elisabeth commented and asked Jason. She wanted the young man to come into the conversation.
Jason continued to eat in silence. It seemed that he had not heard Elisabeth's question.
"Jason?" Akeno waved Jason's arm.
"Yes?" Jason raised his head.
"Eli asked you a question, didn't you hear it," Akeno asked.
"Sorry Eli, I was thinking about something else, and I didn't notice" Jason apologized to Elisabeth.
"It's nothing."
Jason picked up his plates and got up to leave it in place.
"Hey, are you leaving already?" Arthur asked him.
Jason turned and looked at him.
"Yes," Jason nodded.
"What about the club?
"I have something to do. I can't go today."
Jason said goodbye and left the cafeteria.
Elisabeth looked at Arthur, and the young blond man shook his head. They then looked at Akeno for information but found themselves with the disconcerted look of the fallen angel.
Jason left school and went to the place of his previous encounter with Azazel. He went back into Starbucks and left with a coffee the same as the day before.
He sat on the bench and slowly enjoyed the coffee while waiting for Azazel. There were still a few hours left before his meeting with the governor of Grigori.
Jason was still thinking about the pros and cons of accepting Azazel as a foster father.
The pros were obvious. To enter the supernatural world and have the opportunity to meet possible future members of Soaring Dragon. Jason was looking forward to meeting people like Vali Lucifer or the members of Slash Dog among others.
The cons of accepting Azazel as a foster parent were also evident. Having to join Grigori and do work for the organization and be enemy of the other factions before the peace treaty is signed where some of them.
Jason finished the coffee. Just then, a sports car parked in front of Jason. Azazel got out of the vehicle and approached the bench where Jason was sitting.
Azazel didn´t sit; he stood in front of the boy and looked him in the eyes. Azazel saw the look in Jason's eyes, and he smiled.
"Get in the car," Azazel told him and headed for the car.
Jason got up and followed him. He opened the passenger door and sat down.
Azazel started the car and prepared to drive.
"Wait," Jason stopped it before Azazel could do anything.
Azazel looked at him, waiting for Jason's question that he was already waiting.
"Why?" Jason asked.
"Curiosity" Azazel shrugged.
Jason frowned, Azazel saw that Jason didn't seem satisfied with his answer.
"I'm curious to know-"
"All right, I agree to be your adopted son." Jason interrupted.
Azazel was stunned for a few seconds before recovering and laughing. He started the car and started driving.
"Let's go home, son," Azazel happily said.
"It is disgusting, don't call me that." Jason felt the hairs on his body stand on end when he heard the governor of fallen angels call him by that name.
"It' s okay, but you haven't told me your name yet." Azazel was not bothered by Jason's words.
"Jason"
Azazel nodded. It wasn't a bad name. He wondered if the boy had any relation with the argonaut.
"Let's go home, Jason."
