Chương 68: Spoiled mood

3 months later,

Lilac's POV

It's finally winter break. After months of torture in uni, I finally get to be free for 2 months. Although it might be quite a long holiday but it's already felt quite less for me because we still have some project going on in school before new year begins. Our lecturer said that this project would help us for our last semester which is still quite far from now. It's like in another 2 years time. I get that she wants us to finish this project faster so that we wouldn't rush during our last semester but she couldn't understand that we want to have some rest as well.

Incoming call…..

Unknown number

I decide to ignore the call to avoid some scammers. When my phone kept on ringing non stop, I decide to answer it because it's annoying the hell out of me.

"Hello. Who is this? If you're some scammer company or company that sells products or whatever the hell you are, stop calling me. Don't you know what is call privacy? You guys just can't let others have some peace of mind." I shouted on the phone.

"Umm Lilac. It's me , your mom." The person said.

"Oh look who's calling. Hello 'mom'. Why do you call me for? Need anything? I thought that I had made it clear the other time that you don't need to care about me anymore." I said sarcastically.

I was annoyed at the fact that she still wants to pretend that she cares for me.

"I know that you were just acting out of anger at that time. I don't believe that you would just cut off your relationship with your parents just like that. I will forgive you for what you've said last time." She said.

"Umm to say the truth I was really clear headed at that time and until now my answer would still be the same. I don't need your so called forgiveness actually. I'm saying it one more time. I AM BREAKING OFF MY RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU GUYS BECAUSE I HAD ENOUGH OF IT. So if there's nothing else, thank you for calling." I said.

"Lilac wait…." She shouted through the phone.

"What?" I spat out those words.

"Actually your father is really sick and he misses you. That's why I called you." She said.

"Why can't you understand human language? I don't want to have any more so-called family relationship with you guys. Can you all please stop the pitiful act? It's just pointless. I really had enough. Why do you need to dilly dally with me about all this anymore. When I was in front of you, have you ever thought of appreciating me? I'll help you answer. No. But now you see that I have some importance, you tried to get me back to your side. Don't you think that the acting of yours is just so amazing? Sadly you couldn't get an OSCAR for it." I said.

"It's ok I know that you're angry with the way we acted towards you but..." She said while sighing.

"I don't wanna know and I don't care anymore. It's ok. I will live my own life here. Good bye." I said and hanged up.

I know that I couldn't listen anymore to what she's gonna say. The more she say, the guiltier she tried to make me feel. I know it. Who ask me to be so soft hearted? It's something that I'm trying to change. Great now my day is spoiled with that call. I don't wanna do anything anymore.
