Chương 26: One day

Lilac's POV

I felt so sorry for lying to Jung Kook. I have no choice as he kept on pestering me. When he sat in front of me in the café, I almost stood up and walk away because I was worried that I couldn't control myself and start fangirling in front of him. He didn't realize what kind of effect he has on me especially when I felt him gazing at me. When I look up and saw his deer like eyes, my heart almost burst. The only good thing was I realize that he didn't remember me.

To: Ji An

Guess what.

To: Ji An

I met Jung Kook today. It turns out the both of us are in the same uni.

From: Ji An

Really. That Jeon Jung Kook from BTS?????

To: Ji An

Yes. It's him. I didn't expect to meet him this way.

From: Ji An

So did he realize who you are?

To: Ji An

Luckily he did not. It seems like he's suspecting my weird behavior towards him. I lied to him about my name too.

From: Ji An

What you did? What you told him?

To: Ji An

I said that my name is Lily and I avoided him when I was in the hall. I'm just not ready to face them yet after so many years. You can understand right.

From: Ji An

Take it slow. Baby steps. No need to rush. You will be there for quite some time. There will be time for you to admit the truth to him.

To: Ji An

I know but I'm just worried that he'll be mad at me for lying to him. Like can you imagine how close we use to be then suddenly they are gone just like that. To say the truth I'm still sad over what happen back then. At least they call us to tell us about it.

From: Ji An

I understand Lilac but we couldn't do anything about it. It's not literally their fault also. They have their reasons. We can't blame them to say the truth. At some point, it's our fault too for leaving them hanging like that for so long. At least they took the initiative to inform us about them leaving. Since now they are just in front of you, you should grab the chance properly.

To: Ji An

I'll try. Got to go. I need to walk around to get use to the road here.

From: Ji An

After I finish texting Ji An, I felt a bit better than keep on thinking about what happen today. No one would expect that fate would do this to us. One day, I would be ready to meet you guys again as Lilac and not Lily.
