Chương 29: Everyone Find out!
Next day, each student had to prepare a presentation on a topic they liked and the teacher made them do it randomly. As in she would pick students randomly so all should come prepared to class.
She picked Ray second and Elsa excitedly looked at him and mouthed, "Good Luck!"
Ray nodded at her and started his presentation on Dark Net. She was amazed at his confidence in how he looked while presenting and she was proud of him. Ray looked at her time to time and smiled at her which was noticed by everyone in the class.
Soon, Ray ended his presentation and went back to his seat. Elsa was very nervous thinking, ' Who will the next person be?'. She got her answer when the teacher called her name.
She gulped hard and got up from her seat. Gina and Adina told her to calm down by squeezing her hand and rushing her to the front. Elsa walked slowly and when she reached the front and turned to look at her classmates, she got dizzy with all the stares.
She was gripping the front desk tightly and a forced smile came upon her face. She felt like puking but met Ray's encouraging gaze.
Ray knew how nervous she was by the smile on her face. He wanted to calm her down but then they were in the class and he didn't want to let everyone know so soon. He was looking at her till she turned towards him.
He saw her staring at him with hopeful eyes that he wanted to rush towards her and envelop her in his arms. He encouraged her by mouthing her same words," All the best, baby!!"
Elsa nodded at him and greeted everyone before she started her presentation on future technology. When she felt the stares were too much, she would turn to look at Ray and calm down. Ray noticing this, imitated some funny expressions the next time she looked at him. Elsa chuckled in between her presentation while her classmates looked at her weirdly.
She soon stopped her chuckle and continued her presentation while looking at him sometimes. She knew that she had a huge smile on her face but she didn't care. Soon, she ended her presentation and she saw Ray and his friends giving her a standing ovation. She blushed and went to her seat.
Gina said," It was good.. and I'm sure everyone noticed your smile. "
Elsa chuckled," Well... I can only blame him for his funny expression."
"Yeah... But you were looking at him most of the time. "
Elsa widened her eyes and said," No way...You must be kidding me!" and on seeing Gina's expression.
Elsa wailed," Noo... God! everyone will know there's something going on. "
" That's fine... If they ask, agree to it but if not, just chill."
Elsa thought what Gina said was right and said, "Yeah.. you are right. "
She was tensed throughout the day as she didn't know what to expect and only calmed down when the classes finished.
Ray sighed," Why are you tensed? If they find out, It doesn't matter and it sure doesn't seem they found out. "
Elsa nodded," I don't know why I'm getting nervous but hide and seek game sure is fun ." and both of them laughed.
Ray bid his goodbye as his college bus was about to take off. Elsa ran towards her brother's scooter to wait for him. As she was waiting, she heard someone calling her name.
When she turned around to see who it was, it was her classmates. She smiled at them and asked, "What's up? "
"Are you guys dating? You and Ray? "
Her smile froze for a second before her face got red. Elsa smiled shyly and her classmates were amazed at her shyness.
Elsa couldn't help it, she was caught off guard by their question that she couldn't stop her blush. She knew that they figured it out so she didn't even try to mislead them. She nodded while her fingers typed in Ray's number and called him.
They congratulated her and asked how long they have been together. Elsa excused herself when she heard Ray's voice from her phone.
" Hey? You there?"
" Yeah... yes... I'm here..." Elsa said without a breath.
" What happened?" Ray asked worriedly.
" Well...Guess what? " Elsa started laughing.
Ray was getting confused hearing her laughter, "What? "
" God!! Well tomorrow, everyone will know about us."
" What!?" Ray was shocked. " How?"
" Well...Some of our classmates directly asked me and my face gave it away.." Elsa said smilingly. She turned over to look at their side when she noticed the crowd just got bigger. " Well.. definitely every single person will know as the crowd just got bigger and the news is spreading as I speak."
Ray chuckled and said," Well.. now... Tomorrow is going to be fun. "
" I hope they don't ask any questions... They just asked now when we started and I ran off saying that I had to attend a call. "
Ray laughed and whispered," How I wish I could see your red face. "
" Well, you can... Just look to your left. "
Ray was shocked and suddenly turned around to his window side to find Elsa grinning at him. He shyly smiled knowing that she was watching him for some time.
" How long were you watching me?" Ray asked while looking at her.
" Long enough to see your reactions... Ohh, by the way, they were cute.." Elsa winked at him.
Ray blushed and said," Your brother is waiting for you... Look" He pointed towards the parking lot and yes, Alan was looking around for her.
" Okay baby.. Will text you when I reach home. " Elsa blew him a kiss.
Ray caught it, kept it inside his heart and waved her bye.
