Chương 31: 31 Last Breakfast Together

Grant followed Cindy to help prepare the drinks. "Sorry, I wasn't expecting you to hop in and help. I do however appreciate it." He grabs two coffee mugs and places them on the tray. He makes a pot of tea and adds it to the tray.

Cindy finishes making the shake and puts it on a different tray. She grabs herself a glass of orange juice. She carries the milkshake and orange juice to the table. "Here you go, Kitty." She puts the milkshake down in front of Kitty then puts the juice in front of her spot. She puts the tray on the table beside theirs then sits back down.

Grant carries the coffee and tea over, he places the pot of tea beside Julie then puts the empty coffee cups down and pours the coffee into the cups. He then goes and sits next to Julie. "I hope that breakfast is suitable for everyone."

Will walks into the restaurant yawning. "Everyone is really here already." He sits next to Leo and starts drinking his coffee. "So, there are only three days left to help those that need to evacuate before the hunters start to show up. Have you been able to contact those that need to be notified?" He grabs some food and starts to eat.

Julie started to grab food as well, "I have already contacted everyone. Most of the ones that are leaving will be leaving tomorrow afternoon. With the exception of Kitty and Cindy who are leaving today."

"That is good to hear. I will be driving Kitty to our place and then returning right away. I am supposed to be here for a vacation. If I disappear from the location and they show up it could be seen as my trying to help out. We need to destroy that illusion at all costs. So I won't have much of a break." He starts to eat.

"Grant, would I be able to trouble you to make lunches that will last for the long trip?" She drinks some of her milkshake. 'This is so good. I am glad that I ordered it to drink. The sweetness to counteract the bitterness that I am feeling.' She starts to eat her food.

"No problem, Kitty. It would be my pleasure to make the three of you lunch. I'll even make some snacks as well." Grant beams at Kitty. "Is there anything that you don't want to eat so that I don't pack it in there. I can also send some coffee if you would like, Leo?"

"Yes, please I would love some coffee to go. I'm not picky about the food that I eat so I will be okay with whatever you pack up for me." He looks over at Kitty. "Is there anything that you don't want to eat my love?"

She looks at Leo and smiles. "I was thinking that we should get sandwiches to eat for lunch they will keep better than anything else. Other than that I have no complaints. Snacks of all sorts is a wonderful idea. Although I haven't been able to eat eggs lately." She looks down at the breakfast and notices that any eggs that were made are far enough away that she can't smell them.

Cindy pipes up, "Can you prepare some sweets. I think it would be wise to have some on hand as well." She looks at Grant. "I could also use some coffee if it is possible?"

"Okay, those are easy enough requests. I will get working on it after we finish breakfast." He takes a drink of his water. "I will make sure that the two of you have nice fresh coffee for the long drive." He eats his breakfast quickly.

"Thank you, Grant. Please do not rush eating your breakfast." She smiles sadly. 'It is partly my fault that this town is going to get ruined.
