....
"Follow me closely then, the closer we get to Morose cave, the more traps there will be." Eness said
"Traps?" Ivery wasn't really surprised they had traps set up
"Yes, from cloaking spells, pit spells, net spells to fog spells in order to separate and to stop invaders that are in groups." Eness continued to lead the way as she spoke
"Cyleens are known for their trickster natures, they even specialize in trap and illusion magic." Eness explained
"Do you know where the traps could possibly be?" Ivery asked Eness
"I cannot see them but if it's a magic trap then I should be able to smell their scent." Eness said
"Hm.." Ivery suddenly thought of something she could do
Her eyes glowed and she looked around. To her surprise, she could actually see where the several magic traps were set at.
"I see them." Ivery told them
"You do?" Luther looked at Ivery
"Yes, they're all scattered around the area...luckily we didn't run into any of them on the way and they only seem to be set in this area." Ivery continued to look around
"That's because we're close to Morose cave, the more traps you see, the more closer we are." Eness told them
"This way." Eness proceeded on forward, stepping carefully around the traps even though she couldn't see them
"Be careful and follow us closely! There are traps all around this area!" Luther projected his voice and told the 20 students behind them
The students all fearfully looked around as they cautiously followed behind Ivery and Luther, some of them noticed Eness and wondered who she was, when did she get there, and how she managed to casually stand next to and even walk in front of Luther and Ivery.
"There it is! I see it!" A dark green-haired girl with dark blue eyes shouted and pointed
"Really where?!" A boy asked excitedly
"Over there!" She said
"I see it too!" The boy saw a cave not too far from where they were
The girl rushed towards the cave and the boy followed behind her. Five other students ran up to the cave as well. The rest of the students stood in place, waiting for instructions from Luther.
Ivery turned around when she heard a bit of commotion coming from behind them. When she looked back she saw seven students running away from the rest of the group.
"Luther, where are they going?" Ivery tapped Luther and pointed to the seven running students
"I don't know, but they're idiots." Luther sighed
Eness stopped walking and turned around to see what was happening. She also saw the seven students running through the dead forest. She then noticed a cave not too far away from them.
"No..." Eness felt that something strange was going on, there's only one cave in Versille Forest, and that cave is Morose cave, Eness didn't smell the crystals scent coming from that direction...which meant..
"That's an illusion trap!" Eness shouted
"Want me to go?" Ivery asked Luther
"Yes." Luther nodded
"Alright." Ivery ran towards the students that were heading for the 'cave'
Her body turned into a cloud of golden mist and she suddenly appeared in front of them.
They all stopped and confusedly stared at Ivery who stood in their way.
"It's a trap, don't go any further." Ivery told them
"A trap? It's clearly a cave how could it be a trap?" A girl said with a scoff and crossed her arms
"You never learned about illusion magic?" Ivery asked, thinking this girl was just as stupid as she looked
"We did.." The girl nodded
"That's what the cave you're seeing is, an illusion." Ivery said
"How do you know? Who are you anyway?" The girl asked Ivery
Ivery sighed, she could easily assume that this girl had to be new to the school if she didn't at least recognize the uniform she wore.
"I'm princess Inanna, now that I've introduced myself, can you please go back to the group?" Ivery asked
"I've never heard of 'princess Inanna', what kingdom are you from?" The girl raised an eyebrow, arrogantly doubting Ivery
"I said go back." Ivery's eyes glowed brighter and she waved her right hand
In an instant, all seven students that were standing in front of Ivery flew back. They all landed on the ground right in front of the other group of students.
"Ow..." The girl groaned as she sat up
"There's no need to be so stupidly stubborn when someone gives you a warning." Ivery was suddenly standing in front of the girl
"What-!?" The girl and the other students slightly jumped when she saw Ivery standing in front of them
"How.." She didn't even see Ivery walk up to her...
"You really annoyed me just then.." Ivery grabbed the girl by the collar of her shirt. Ivery raised her hand with the intent to slap her.
"What's wrong? Did they give you trouble?" Luther walked up to Ivery and asked
"A bit." Ivery stopped and nodded
"Who?" Luther asked
The six students that followed the girl all pointed at her.
"You gave my fiance trouble?" Luther grinned and looked at the girl that Ivery held by the collar
"N-No!" The girl shook her head, feeling an ominous aura coming from Luther, looking into his cold purple eyes made her shiver
She suddenly felt a headache coming on....and she then lost sight of what was in front of her.
Moving pictures somehow took over her vision and she saw the unseeable....
Ivery let the girl go and she dropped on the ground.
Red...red....red..
The girl screamed and rolled on the ground, she covered her eyes not wanting to see anymore but alas it didn't help because even when she closed her eyes...it continued to play...
She saw her own death..
....
She threw up on the ground as a reaction and in response to the intense fear and pain she felt she urinated.
All of the other students backed up and covered their mouths. Ivery frowned and turned her head.
Eness crossed her arms and nonchalantly looked at what was happening since she had seen far worst things happen to humans, this didn't even make her list of 20.
Her vision slowly came back to her and she panted heavily. She sweated profusely and she couldn't get what she just saw out of her head...
"If you don't want that to happen to you...listen when you're told to do something from now on, and if any of you run off like that again without my orders, it won't be the cyleens that kills you, I'll do it myself, you will not delay this mission any further, do I make myself clear?" Luther coldly said to the seven of them
"Yes." They all nodded
"Let's continue." Ivery said
