Chương 39: Work
I woke up the next morning ready to search for a company for my new career.
I put on jean shorts that were cuffed at the bottom and light blue. As well as a black and white striped shirt. I tucked it into my shorts before going downstairs.
No I didn't put on makeup because I heard it's better to audition being yourself without to much extra.
Liu Wei looked at me confused as I came down. When I walked behind him he asked "Where are you going today?"
I smiled and sat down next to him.
"I'm going to work. Remember I have to go find a company."
His eyes went cold and he looked back at his food clearly sulking.
This little 4 year old.
I suddenly went serious when I said
"First we have to talk about a few things."
He looked at me with full attention.
"First and foremost you didn't say that we were married right? You just said you were married to someone right?"
He slowly nodded his head. Not understanding what I was getting at so I continued to explain.
"Good. We need to keep it that way. For one it's not good for a new actress to be already in a relationship. The fans won't like it. Especially for the fact that it's you." I smiled explaining my point.
"So you don't want people to know you're married? In that horrible industry." He looked at me annoyed.
"No I don't want people knowing i'm married. Especially if they know it's you. They could think i'm a bed-climber using you to get fame."
I knew he would be annoyed so I kept calm and continued explaining.
"Fine. But you have to tell me if anything ever happens. And i'll have my bodyguards follow you. So you-"
"No. What nothing actress has body-guards? Please, just agree to this for me. Only for right now."
He looked at me and something in his eyes sparked when he said "Fine since you won't agree to any of that. You have to agree to any one request I make."
Since I thought he would want a kiss or something I agreed by nodding my head.
"That's a verbal contract. So now you have to agree to be in my entertainment company."
I looked at him shocked.....
He had so many businesses and they are all top class. His entertainment company is the highest of the high.
WAIT!
He has multiple businesses which means multiple buildings and he works in the main building that oversees everything. The entertainment building is different.
This could work.
But I don't want to use connections to get into acting. What should I do?
