Chương 37: "What…ragging? How dare they bully my cute Xuiye?"
Mo Lingtan was staring at Lee Xuiye in disbelief. Even though Lee Xuiye was looking in his eyes, however, her eyes weren't showing any kind of guilt for what she had done just now.
'Girl 1' saw the conditions of her friends, so she didn't dare to go near Lee Xuiye. Therefore, she put on a pitiful act and cried out, "Brother Lingtan, did you see how she is bullying us even though we didn't do anything?"
Other students, who were present at that time in the library, were also in disbelief. They already saw how these girls had bullied Lee Xuiye and how Lee Xuiye was beaten up, but it was the first time for them to see Lee Xuiye like this.
Lee Xuiye simply took her bag and left it from the library. Lee Xuiye passed Mo Lingtan's side, but she didn't look at him at all.
Even Mo Lingtan didn't stop her, as if the person who had passed by him wasn't his cute Xuiye, who was always calling him 'Brother Lingtan' whenever she was in trouble, one whose eyes always turned red because of little things; one who always had a smile on her face when she saw ice-cream.
"Wow… is she really Xuiye whom we know?" Lu Yichen said in an amused tone, as he liked this side of Lee Xuiye more.
"Well, I was expecting this day." A boy, who was standing beside Mo Lingtan and Lu Yichen, commented.
"What do you mean?" Lu Yichen asked.
"My sister told me that these girls have been bullying her constantly for the past few weeks and I saw her attending martial arts class a few days before. I assumed that she must be preparing herself to fight against these girls." The boy explained.
"What…ragging? How dare they bully my cute Xuiye?" Lu Yichen exclaimed in an angry tone.
"But she has invited a big problem for her. Chi Rui'er's father is the investor of this school. Of course, this issue will go to the school management. I think they will expel her from school." Another boy, who was also standing beside them, commented.
Mo Lingtan didn't say anything and just stared at the corridor from where Lee Xuiye just passed through.
Why didn't Lee Xuiye tell him that some girls were bullying her?
Mo Lingtan remembered that from the last two weeks, he and Lee Xuiye didn't talk much with each other.
Mo Lingtan was busy with his assignments and in taking care of Mo Xingjuan that he forgot about Lee Xuiye.
Would it be that she was angry at him for not giving any attention to her?
However, Lee Xuiye was not like that, she understood him very well.
Then what would be the matter?
"I will see you guys later," Mo Lingtan said and ran after Lee Xuiye.
"Brother Lingtan…" Chi Rui'er cried out.
However, Mo Lingtan didn't stop. Did they really think that, after what they had done to Lee Xuiye, anyone was going to help them?
Lu Yichen looked at the two boys who were left standing beside him. "What? Do you guys want to help them?"
Both the boys shrugged their shoulders and their expressions were showing that 'We are not idiots'.
Of course, who wanted to help those girls when everyone knew, who was at fault?
Therefore, Lu Yichen and other boys were left from the library and pretended that they didn't hear any plead.
Mo Lingtan reached the entrance of the school gate but Lee Xuiye was nowhere to be found. Mo Lingtan asked other students and they said that she had left.
Mo Lingtan immediately ran towards his car where his driver was waiting for him.
"Let's go to Xuiye's house. Fast." Mo Lingtan sat in the car and ordered.
"Yes, Young Master." The driver immediately started the car and drove off.
Before going to Lee Xuiye's house, Mo Lingtan stopped at the nearest bus stop, from where Lee Xuiye usually took the bus for her home. She was not there. So it meant that she might have already boarded the bus to her home.
Throughout the ride, Mo Lingtan was looking at the road, in case he would see Lee Xuiye.
He wanted to ask her the reason, why she didn't tell him about those girls.
He had offered her to come to Capital Imperial School because he knew how talented she was. So it was his responsibility to take care of her, after all, she was his best friend.
The car stopped in front of the building where Lee Xuiye lived.
Mo Lingtan immediately ran towards her house.
However, when he reached near to her house, he heard screaming voices of Lee Xuiye and Lee Chang-You.
"Ahhh…. Mommy…"
'Slap!'
"Hui, leave my daughter…."
'Slap'
"You B**ch… I am going to kill you…. Because of you, I have lost everyone…Why didn't you die in the operation theatre?"
'Slap'
'Slap'
"Ahhh…."
Xuiye… Hui…you Bas***... Leave my daughter…"
