Chương 5: 5. Dong Xian’s Disciple

Dong Xian was actually able to impress Yi Lian. As this spread around the banquet, Dong Xian's family servants cleaned up the blood puddles on the floor. Those people who learned of that issue somehow magically spat out blood. It seemed that being a cultivator caused you to spit out blood a lot. The servants treated the matter like it was normal.

"I will offer you my secret martial arts techniques to get you to accept me as a disciple." Yi Lian offered him. It was lying to oneself if Dong Xian said that he was not tempted. He started to think about how he would finally have some techniques he could use. Yi Lian thought that he was thinking about teaching her, so she became excited.

Dong Xian told her," I will teach you one of my special techniques for your manuals." Yi Lian was shaking in delight as she realised that he had accepted the deal. She did not even realise it was weird that if he was truly powerful, he would reject it immediately.

It was easy to do the Soul Foundations technique. It was as easy as drinking and eating as it was just like linking body to the soul. Soon, Yi Lian learned and cultivated the technique and gave Dong Xian the secret manuals. The manuals were Berserk Pummel and Recoiless Kick. Yi Lian tested out her punches and was satisfied with the power increase.

After Yi Lian walked back to the banquet, people commented on why her, a mid-tier beauty, suddenly became a ravishing beauty.

Dong Xian's Mother and his sister became jealous that Yi Lian became the center of attention again. Dong Xian was also surprised. He did not know the technique made one look better. No one had commented on how his appearance had changed.
