After Duy joined us, he brought in Little Guy, who was quite a lot cuter when he doesn't have the bowl cut on his head - Sort of like a mini saitama with those eyes
We stuck around for a few days but eventually we needed out of Konoha
Hiruzen was actively pressuring our group to graduate early to 'earn' the konoha headband, and we didn't want any of it
So about three days after that dinner, we up and left
There was no trace we had ever been there at the Senju Compound at all, and Mito easily set up the barriers again with her Grandelder Status of Level 9 Seal Master. She also opened up a hole in the barriers around Konoha as well for us - It only being enough to stop someone of my level in sealing
Right now we were about halfway to our base in the North and I was teaching the others about Nature Manipulation and Shape Manipulation
"Right so, there are two types of ways we can control out chakra - We can shape it into something like a ball or a spike - Or we turn it into one of the Five Elements or a Subelement" They all nodded at that
"Nature Transformation is the simpler one of the two - Find a technique with your elemental affinity and you should be set if you train that affinity far enough"
"How do we identify our affinities?" Yahiko spoke up
I grinned and pulled out 7 pieces of Chakra Paper from my back pocket and handed them all each one slip
"Pour your chakra into that piece of paper and it will tell you. If you have an affinity for Earth, it will crumble, for lightning, it will crumple, for fire, it will light a flame, for wind, the paper will split, and for water, the paper will turn soggy and wet. If you happen to have an affinity for Yin, the paper will disappear, and if you have an affinity for Yang, the paper will start to float" I explained to them and pulled out one slip for myself
I channeled my chakra into it and the paper started to transform
It first split into four pieces, one of those pieces crumpled into a ball and a green fire engulfed it. Another piece turned into dust and then turned soggy. The third piece first started to float and then it disappeared from view. The final piece turned into a solid block of wood, and a scorch flame lit all around it
They all looked surprised at how many reactions the paper had to receiving my chakra
"Normally, a person usually has one or two natures for their affinities. Me and Nagato are exceptions to this because of the Rinnegan. It grants us affinities to all five of the basic natures, and I also have an affinity for Yin, Yang, Wood, as well as Scorch" I explained to them "Minato, why don't you go first"
I'm pretty sure I know what element he has already, but...
He nodded and he moved a little bit of chakra into the paper
It first split in half, one of the halves crumpling and then lighting on fire with a slightly purple flame. The other half first started to float then it disappeared
"You have an affinity for Wind, then it's Lightning, Fire, and then an affinity for Yin and Yang. Nice! I'll tell you how to train those in a bit" I explained to him, but he just stared at the paper with an open mouth
I turned to Kushina "You next" I told her
She did the same thing Minato did and channeled a bit of her Chakra into the paper
It split into two and one turned soggy and the other turned ethereal
I grinned "Wind, Water, and Yin" She nodded a little shocked
The next went by the same way
Nagato had all five affinities and an extra for Yang which slightly surprised me
Konan had affinities for Wind, Earth, Water, and Yang which was pretty great
Yahiko had Water, Fire, and Wind but nothing for Yin or Yang which slightly disappointed him
Nanami was a slight surprise. The paper first indicated she had affinities for Water, Wind, and a Yang affinity, but the paper then turned into something resembling a piece of the Void and then it started to suck up tiny pieces of metal in the surrounding area - The pieces looked kind of like silver
"Dark Release and Magnet Release, that's new..." I muttered under my breath while Nanami was cheering in the background
Shinji was even more of a surprise than Nanami. His paper first tore in half, one of the halves crumpling and turning soggy. The other half though, turned into a tightly wound lightning ball before it started floating and shooting all about the air like a golden snitch
"Storm and Swift... I guess your ancestors were from Kumo Shinji" I told him
He just shrugged it off and went back to sleep in the tree he was sitting in, the bastard...
After everything was done, I explained to everyone how to train their basic natures - Set fire to a leaf, Try and cut a leaf... All of it had to do with leaves really
I went over to Minato who was trying, and failing, at cutting a leaf in half. There were little tiny cuts at the leafs edges but nothing going straight through
"Hey Minato!" He looked over at me stopping his practicing "Want to help me develop a new technique?" I asked him
He jumped up and grabbed my shoulders "Can I?!?"
I just chuckled and moved him off of me "Yeah, it's a technique with pure shape manipulation" His eyes widened even more
I pulled out a water balloon from my pack
"See the first thing that you have to do is spin your chakra around..."
( A/N : Before you say so in the comments, no the group didn't just slip out of a Ninja village undetected, they already have ANBU following them - which we will see in the next chapter or two. Just wanted to get that out of the way )
From the last chapters comments, you guys didn't want me to bring Sakumo and Kakashi because of the group being too big
Which made me realize it indeed was getting WAY too big - I had even been ignoring Yahiko:(
So, I will probably be leaving a few of them back at the base for now so I can focus on character development on the rest
Nanami and Shinji had to be powered up, I really just couldn't help it
I will write the teams stats and put them up as the next chapter
