Chương 2: Chapter 2

An hour passed, she exited the prison gates.

"Fck feels good to be free!" she said as she stretched her arms up before turning around. "I'm never going back inside," she muttered to herself before walking to a car that was waiting for her.

6 hours have passed and they arrived in an abandoned warehouse.

"Hmm, fancy HQ you got," she commented as she got out of the car.

"The president is waiting for you inside. Someone will guide you where to go," the man who drove her there said.

"You guys won't get inside?" she asked as she pointed towards the warehouse.

But the men that drove her from the prison already left.

"Ooohkay?" she muttered to herself.

She entered the warehouse herself and it was goddamn big, good thing someone came over to her to guide her where to go.

After a few minutes, she is now seated in front of the biggest politician in Asia. Namely: the King of Thailand, President of the Philippines and Emperor in Japan.

"Hey, I didn't kill anyone after getting out of prison. Why do I feel like I'm in a court right now?" she said as she crossed her legs.

"Don't worry, Ms. Nightshade--"

"Uh uh, My name is Belladonna. You can call me Bella," she said as she raised her hand.

The men looked at it each before looking back at her.

"Well, Ms. Bella. You've committed grave sins that deserve death. But this time, our countries need your skill," the Emperor of Japan said.

"Yeah, I was just recently told back at the facility. Anyways, I really don't care with whatever job you want me to do, as long as all my properties are mine again," she said as she waved her hand, dismissing the men in front of her.

She really didn't care if she was actually in front of the biggest men in Asia. What's important is she's free from that filthy prison cell back in the facility.

"Well, since you're already convinced," the King of Thailand said as he signaled for a man to hand her the needed documents. "You will have to wear that bracelet so the government will know of your whereabouts."

"Alright then, so when do I meet the children?" she asked as she opened the folder. "Oh, so I'm not teaching children?" she asked when she realized she was going to teach people her age.

"You can do with whatever method you think is ideal so that they may learn quickly," the President of the Philippines said.

She laughed awkwardly as she got herself into a quicksand.

"You never said I'm teaching kids that are older than me?" she yelled in shock.

The men inside the room looked at each other, confusion was written in their face.

"So, you really thought you'd be teaching children?" the Emperor of Japan asked.

"Yeah. Well, whatever. That means I could get a little violent than I was planning to. When do I start teaching?" she asked as her mood quickly changed.

It was particularly easy to teach adults as they could understand and maybe could have prior knowledge.

"You can start tomorrow morning," they said.

"Good! Hey, I already wore the bracelet. Can I go home now? I'm missing my waterbed already," she said as she stood up, with the folder in her arms.

"Yes, you may," they said. After the meeting that was cut short, a man came over to her and handed her a key.

"We- Uh, we kept your bike safe. We didn't put anything on it or-or remove anything from it," the man said as he handed the key.

She looked at him from head to toe.

"No offense, but you're an agent?" she asked.

"Y-Yes, i-it's my first day. I-I'm assigned to assist you," he said in a shaky voice.

She paused for a moment before smiling.

"Well, welcome to the club Mr. --uh, what's your name?" she asked.

"Rai Ogawa," he replied.

She offered her hand for a handshake.

"Well Rai, I hope you can keep up," she smiled as she grabbed the key from Rai's hand.

When they arrived at her villa, it was as empty as before she was caught. She took a deep breath of the place as she missed it so much.

"Ahh, smells like home. Come in, Rai. Don't worry, I don't have lasers that kill you on my house," she said as she unlocked her door. Everything was placed the same as where she left her things.

"T-They said I'll h-have to s-stay here w-with you," he said shyly.

She paused again for a moment. The government is really troublesome, this is one of the reasons why she hates for the government. She turned to him, with a smile on her face.

"Well, of course, Rai. There's a guest room upstairs, adjacent to mine. You stay there. Hungry?" she said as she walked towards the fridge.

The government even stocked food in her fridge as everything seemed fresh from the grocery. They're really serious in keeping me under wraps huh.

She made sandwiches for both of them before going to sleep. Rai watched as she disappeared into her room before making a call.

"She's safe, sir," he said as he took a bite from the sandwich. "I'm still alive, so don't worry."

Meanwhile, Bella was smiling while drinking her wine. "Oh Rai," she chuckled as she stared at the moon. "Hmm, good to be free."

The next day, she woke up early and prepared breakfast for both of them. After a few minutes, she saw Rai come down with his wet hair. She licked her lips as soon as she realized it.

"I could get used to this," she laughed as she stared at him.

Rai got surprised as soon as he saw Bella watching him from the kitchen counter.

"Oh, don't be surprised. A saying goes, the early bird catches the worm," she said as she took a bite off of her sandwich. "Anyways, good morning. Have a sandwich, I have a question for you." she smiled innocently.

Rai looked at her, confused. But still, he got a sandwich and ate it.

"Who were you talking to last night, Agent Copperhead?" she said as she looked at him straight in the eye.

Surprised by her question, he choked slightly before chuckling.

"How'd you know?" he smiled as he leaned on the table.

"I overheard you last night and did a little digging on my own," she smiled as she leaned on the table, her face just inches from his.

"I never expected that the government's most handsome agent was sent to look after me."

"You should be honored," he said as he pulled back and stood up. "You should go get ready. Your students would be waiting for you. Oh, you'd be teaching college students."

She watched as he disappeared into his room before finishing up and heading to her room. After a few minutes of preparing, she came down to a dashing Japanese man.

"You look good in that suit," she smiled.

"Is that all you have to say after making me wait? Come on, your students are waiting for you," he said as looked at his watch and his expression grim from all the waiting.

"My apologies, my handsome Japanese guard," she said as she grabbed her helmet.

"You're going on your bike again?" he asked as he put on his shoes.

"Yea, why?"

"Nothing. Make sure you're not late."

After arriving at the university, they went to the dean's office to discuss the choice of students that she was going to train. After an hour, the meeting was finished.

"So, I'm going to choose 5 Filipino students since the government already chose 5 Chinese, Japanese and Korean students?" she asked.

"Yep," he said as he opened the door to the classroom. "Choose wisely, my dear Belladonna."

The moment she stepped inside, a military office greeted her.

"I'm Captain Madrigal and I'm in charge of the criminology students here," he said.

"Yeah, whatever. I just need to choose anyone who knows how to hold a gun," she said as she passed by the officer. "I'm a little impatient so hands up to whoever knows how to hold and use a gun."

A few raised their hand, but a student caught her attention. He was mumbling something as his hands were shaking.

"What's up with you?" she asked as she tried to approach the student. But the student quickly looked at her, hatred was seen in his eyes. He slowly raised his hand which was holding a Glock 19 9mm Compact Semi-Automatic Pistol. This alarmed the captain, Rai, and the other students.

"Sage! Put that down!" the captain yelled as he pulled some students to go outside.

"Bella!" Rai yelled who was outside and couldn't get in as the students rushed outside.

"You killed my father!" he cried.

"Sage! Put down the gun!" the captain yelled again as he tried to come near him.

"Don't come near me!"

"Captain, I'd like it very much if you follow what he wants. He's very emotional right now," she said seriously as he signaled for Rai to get everyone out, including the captain.

"Sage, was it?" she asked as she sat down calmly and crossed her legs.

"You vile woman! Why did you kill him?!" he yelled, his tears poured out.

"Who was your father?" she asked mockingly. For her, it was fun to toy with an emotional killer, but she knew this boy had high potentials to be a top assassin.

"Col. Isidro! Why did you kill him!?" he yelled again.

Col. Isidro. The name did ring a bell. However, it wasn't her that killed the old man.

"It wasn't me," she said as she simply shrugged.

"What?" he asked, shocked from what he heard.

She chuckled as she stood up and slowly approached him.

"Don't come here!" he yelled again as he aimed at her with a shaky hand.

"It wasn't me. I may be a killer, a shameless one at that. I would happily admit that I killed people, but not your father," she said as she walked back to her seat. "Col. Felipe Isidro, ahh... that name does ring a bell."

"How do you know him! Answer me!" he demanded.

She smiled at him wickedly. She knew that if he'd known who killed his father, it was sure that he'd do anything to avenge his father.

"Let's just say, he was someone that I respected. In fact, he was the only one I respected," she said as she crossed her legs. "Tell you what, I'll tell you who killed your father. And in exchange for that, I want you to become my top student."

"Why!? Why wouldn't you tell me now?" he said as his hand shook. He wasn't stable, but not for long, she thought.

"Because... you don't have the skill to avenge your father. You got guts, I gotta commend you that. But," she paused as she quickly stood up and charged at him and aimed for his weak points to block his chi in his arm, rendering him weak enough to drop the gun. "you couldn't even pull the trigger."

"You see, if you want to kill, you do it without hesitation. When you're on the battlefield, it's either kill or get killed your choice. Rai, let the students come in," she said as she walked back to her seat, her heels click-clacked on the floor.

Rai opened the door for the students who were shaking. A lot of students were gathered outside.

"Captain Madrigal, get those other students to leave," Rai said with full authority. The officer quickly instructed his soldiers to get the outsiders to leave.

"Sage Isidro," she said as she handed a folder to Rai.

Rai looked at the student who was holding his weakened arm. It was obvious that it was Bella that did it. One of the reasons why she was undefeatable was because of her chi-blocking martial arts that she apparently learned when she was still 9 years old.

"I'll pass this to the dean. You can continue your class," he said as he left.

"Alright then!" she smiled as she looked at his students.
