Chương 110: Seeds of Rebellion
The people of Iran were frustrated because of infants being killed, they knew that this was Shameen's doing. Many pregnant women in their late months lost their babies. They were frustrated and sad. They kept hearing rumours that the Shah supported Shameen's deeds. There was no one stopping her atrocious acts..
There was a meeting being held by citizens of the capital city of Tehran..they were discussing the deaths of the babies.. they were God believing people and felt that she would be punished by God once her sins ripe..but God hasn't punished her yet.. they even knew why she turned evil..the story behind it was very heart breaking, but it doesn't give her any right to kill or harm others..
One of the citizens stood up and said,' we need to do something about Shameen, we can't keep quiet, ' another one said,'but the Shah.. what about him..' the chief said,'let's all take our plea to the Shah and see how he reacts..let him decide if his people are important for him or not..' the first person said,'what if he says he will not do anything..' the chief said,'let's see what he says..then we decide..' one of them said, ' we rebel against him if he doesn't accept our plea..' everyone started chanting..' rebel! rebel! rebel!' the chief stood up and raised his hands and said,' I don't think it will come to that state.. let's be sensible..' everyone became quiet..
The people got into a big group and went to the palace of Shah..the chief of the group requested an audience with the Shah..the guards said only the chief can enter..the chief said that he will talk only in front of everyone..the guard went in and came back..he said that the chief can enter with his people..
The chief lead the people inside,as they reached inside the palace, the Shah was sitting on the throne..he said,' chief,why are you all here?' the chief said,'we pay our respects to the Shah'.. and knelt down.. everyone followed suite.. the Shah said,'raise..!' they got up, the chief said,'your majesty..we are facing a big issue due to that witch Shameen, she is killing infants and extracting babies from bellies of pregnant women..we beg you to look into this as we can't take this any more.. children are the future of this great country..a day will come when this entire nation will become a barren land..many women lost their mental stability and two women committed suicide.. please your majesty.. have mercy..' Shah's face lost colour..he didn't know that Shameen was still giving sacrifices..he thought it all stopped after the death of his unborn offspring..he looked at the people and said,' do you have any proof against her?' the people were taken aback.. proof? what proof Can they give..no woman could remember exactly what happened.. they felt as if they walked into a dream and they saw Shameen.. there was always a deep scar left on their bellies.. nothing else..no visible wound or blood..Shah said,'yes,we need proof before pressing charges on someone..' one of the people in the crowd said,' your majesty.. would you say this if it were your own offspring..' the Shah got agitated..he said,'enough! know your limits before talking..' the chief said,'I apologize on his behalf your majesty.. it's not that we wish to disrespect you.. it's only because of our sadness we utter such words..' Shah raised one hand and said,'I will order a full investigation on this..once I have enough proof I will take action..now you all can leave!' ..
