Miss Anna their homeroom teacher introduced Scarlet as the new student and ask her to briefly introduce herself. She looked across the classroom as she saw the old bunch sitting together as always before introducing herself...
"Scarlet here. Its my pleasure to meet you and looking forward to our time that we spend as classmates!" she expressionlessly introduced herself. Those who knew her felt the drastic change in her personality and secretly vowed in their hearts that they will make her open up to them again.
She got assigned her seat at the backside near window with her friends on her front and as her seat partner, Nana she considered bestie after her among her friends.
"Guess nothing can separate us neither in this lifetime nor any other~~" Nana exclaimed dramatically. At this she Scar could only smile while she settled down in her seat. As soon as she sat almost the whole group turned and waved at her while secretly greeting in their own way. The reason of their secretly and not openly greeting ofcourse none other than the greatest witch MISS ANNA.
Back then they gave her the nickname small box or smox because tgey thought miss Anna lived with backward thinking in her small little world with countless rules they had to unwillingly follow. As soon as the class started nana started mimicking miss Anna behind her back when she was explaining rules of tenses. At this Scar couldnt help but laugh loudly which earned a sharp gaze and an earful from the witch and almost immediately afterwards nana gave her the look as she was wronged and it was all my fault that they had been scolded earlier. I was shocked at her expressions but then again who was she the silent troublemaker beacause of whom i had been scolded at occasions even though i wasn't the one at fault.
After that we focused on the lecture and somehow managed to remain sane until lunch break.
I went to the staff's office as i still had to get my id card from there with Nana and i saw Ira there. I froze for a moment before regaining my composure and acting normally but i felt something inside me break because of the way we were treating each other. Nana called out to her first because she knew that i would never initiate the conversation first.
