suddenly, he heard a rustling sound from behind.
"Who's there?" Lewis worried that a thief may followed him and tried to rob him. Instead of a thief, apparently a beautiful woman came approaching him.
"Oh, it's just you, Alia."
"May if I join you?"
"No. of course not."
She sat down beside him and just stared at the moon.
"When I think about it, this place hold many of memories, right?" She said.
"Yes. it is."
"At the other night, I almost fell off the cliff, right? And you're the one who saved me. I couldn't thank you enough."
"Don't be. I only did what I have to do."
"That night also you propose to me."
Lewis felt the pain in his heart. He tried to hold his tears back.
"That was the best moment of my life, you know?" She added. "I'm... really happy to hear that at that time..."
Lewis still tried to hold his tears.
"Just before I came here, the king find me a prince." She said.
"What?" Surprised to hear that, he turned his face to her.
"He's really rich. He's from a great kingdom that many woman lining up for his money and looks. I saw his picture that The king showed me, and he really is handsome."
"Is.. That so..." Lewis felt want to cry again when he heard it.
That's great. He thought.
Now she found a man for herself. I could move on from her... finally...
"But... I turned him down."
Lewis turned his face to her once more.
"Because there's only one man in my heart. And that's you... Lewis." She smiled beautifully to him.
When he saw her, he couldn't hold back his tears. He cried and cried loudly.
"I love you Lewis." She added. "More than anyone."
"I love you too... Without you I... couldn't live..."
"Then, you want to end it?"
"What?"
"Our sufferings." She rose up and held out her hand.
Lewis caught her hand and stood up beside her.
They held each other hand as they looked at the bottom of the cliff.
"It's high. My feet couldn't even move now." Said Alia.
"It's not too high for our love, Alia." Lewis smiled to her.
"That's right." She smiled back to him.
"If I can't have you, nobody can."
"I also felt the same way." She replied.
They jumped off the cliff together,
with the smile on their face.
