Chương 13: Lord Aquariusinarium's Work Part 4

"Beituille, I wanted to talk to you," She said as she sat down at the table as Beituille served her some tea, "I wanted to talk to you about the guest, you know, the human, I don't know how to talk to him about something."

"What do you want to tell him about?"

"I love him."

"Oh, why is that, my lady?"

"I don't know, he is just so different, I just want to live my life with him, but I didn't want to ask about that."

"Then what is it about?"

"He told me about how he had never had a family, and I wanted to tell him that I would be here for him, so, so, so."

"So that he wouldn't be alone?"

"Yes, exactly, but I don't want it to sound stupid, I don't know."

"Maybe you could show him some affection, have you kissed him?"

"Yes."

"Gone any further?"

"Um, do I have to answer?"

"I can guess it then, well, you could try and tell him, without it being in any sort of heat of the moment type situation and instead have it in a small moment."

"Okay, but how? Why would it change if it wasn't in a small moment?"

"He'll listen to you more, since you aren't reacting to anything he is doing," Beituille said as she served Tea more tea, "Or whatever you are doing."

"But how do I phrase it? I can't just say it, can I?"

"Of course you can, my lady, if you make it subtle, you never know what he will understand out of it, so you might as well say it bluntly."

"I don't know still, I don't know if he even needs that type of support."

"Would you want him to do the same if you were in his situation?"

"Yes."

"Then, who am I to judge, my lady."

"Thank you so much, Beituille, can you remind the cooks to make the meal for two?" Tea said as she stood up, "I'll be eating with Vidian, but don't tell any of this to my father, or my mother, please."

"Of course, my lady, my tongue won't make a noise regarding this conversation, just, if you don't mind, keep it down at night, anyone passing by in the silence can hear you two, my lady."

"Beituille, don't embarrass me, but thank you for your advice, and the warning," She said slightly blushing, "I'll watch myself."

"What are you going to do when you go back to your room, my lady?"

"I don't know, I don't know what he wants to do."

"He leads your life now, my lady?"

"What does that mean, of course he doesn't!"

"Don't get angry, my lady, I am asking an honest question."

"Why do you need to make me question myself so much?"

"You asked for advice, I gave you what you come to find, and what you need is to question yourself, whether you love him, whether you cling to him because of loneliness, or whether you actually think you could end your life, living by his side, we can't let others dictate our lives, but we can become a pair and work together, you decide what comes after that," Beituille responded, "I'll remained the cooks, my lady," She got up and left Tea alone in the room, with the question that Beituille had left lingering in the air, unanswered. She sighed and walked out of the room, she closed the door behind her and had the time to think as she walked down the hallway, back to her room. She had been out of her room for a while, yet the door seemed to have not moved at all, she put her ear on the door, listening to whatever could be going on. She heard nothing, she moved her head from the door and touched the doorknob, she felt as if her stomach was twisting itself, for some reason, entering her room now made her nervous, he made her nervous. She took a deep breath and grasped the doorknob, only for it to turn and open. She fell face to face with Vidian.

"Oh, hi Tea, I was going to come look for you."

"H-h-hi, V-V-Vidian," Her face lit up to a bright tone of red mixed with a small touch of pink, "Have you just been sitting around all this time?"

"Yeah, what have you been doing?"

"N-n-nothing, nothing," She walked in, "I wanted to talk to you, well, um, tell you something."

"Okay," He closed the door as she walked into the room. He walked to the middle of the room and stood in front of her as she sat down, "What is this about?"

"I wanted to tell, to tell you, s-s-something."

"I know that, you just told me that, is it something bad? What's up?" He sat down in front of her, "I am all ears."

"I-I-I wanted you, to, to, to know that if you need something when you are here, that, that, that, I am here for you," She stammered her way through her thoughts. He smiled and didn't answer for a while, "I don't mean to-"

"Thank you for caring about me, I assume this is because of my story, my past, the fact that I never had a family," He sat down next to her and put his arm around her and pulled her closer to him, "Thank you," He kissed her cheek. Her cheeks lit up with bright pink tones, "You are really cute when you are nervous, when you blush like this, the contrast of your pale skin and the bright pink that comes over your cheeks."

"Don't make it worse," She rested her head on his shoulder, "Please don't."

"Did you spend so much time to think about what you were going to say or was it also to ask advice on how to ask it?"

"N-no."

"As soon as you think of it and then lie, I can tell, Inventaariy's Blessing is pretty useful, but you know, at least I can't read minds," He smiled wickedly as he looked at her, "Or I would probably see too many things."

"Stop! Don't tease me!"

"You still like it, don't you?"

"Don't make me think of that!" She pushed him away from her, "I don't want to even think of it!"

"No need to push me, just tell me that, I can understand it, there is no point for me to try and force you to do anything, is there?"

"I guess you are right."

"Ah, I remember where I was going to do."

"Huh?"

"I was going to talk to your father about something, something tonight that would involve all of the Seakin, something spectacular."

"Can I ask?"

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I did, since I won't tell your father what it is either."

"Okay, well, I won't then," She kissed his cheek. He got up afterwards and headed to the door, "Where are you going?"

"I just told you, didn't I?"

"Oh, okay, well, don't be gone too long, the food should be ready soon."

"Don't worry, I'll be back," He walked out of the room. As he closed the door he heard her let out a sigh of relief and smiled, closing the door entirely. He walked down the hallway of palace. He remembered the path until the place of his small intercalation with the men that attempted to kill him. He stopped a servant in the hallway, "Do you know where your lord is?"

"Follow me, I'll bring you there," She bowed her head as she walked ahead of him, "What is this for, Sir Vidian?"

"I need to talk to him about something, something happening tonight."

"Very well, just here," She opened the door and let him in, "My lord, Sir Vidian wanted to talk to you."

"Ah, come in, come in, thank you, you can leave us now," She bowed and left the room, "What do you want to tell me, Vidian?"

"Can you ask your people, all of them, to be watching the Abyssal Sea before sundown? I have something to show to all of you."

"Why the Abyssal Sea?"

"Can you do that?"

"I'll do that, it better not be a death trap."

"Why would I do that? I don't kill people for no reason."

"With a reason you would."

"I don't have one, if that is your worry."

"Very well, I'll have my people watch the Abyssal Sea at sundown."

"All of them, even Lady Tea."

"I understood you, everyone will be there."

"Good, I have something to do now, thank you."

"May I ask?"

"Tea wanted to eat lunch with me."

"Well, you might as well join her, she has little patiences."

"I realized that," He said as he left the room. He walked back down the hallway in time to see a servant leave Tea's room with an empty tray. He walked in and saw Tea sitting at the table, her head resting on her hands. She sighed and then leaned back.

"He said he would be back soon, it is going to get cold."

"I'm back," He said as he walked towards her, "I don't think I was long."

"No, no, it just got here, come, sit down with me," He sat down in front of her, across the table from her. The plates were already served as he poured water into his glass and drank it, "What did my father say?"

"That he would have everyone gathered by sundown."

"What for?"

"I already told you that it was a surprise."

"I know, at least I tried."

"What is this?" He said taking a bite of his food, "It's tastes pretty good."

"Um, I think it was, um, Filli fish."

"Oh, those ones, yeah, Lord Oceanus told be about them."

"What did he say about them?"

"That they are prey for nearly everything in the corrals, I guess that they would be if they taste this good."

"They're my favorite, I could eat these all day, I love them cooked in nearly any manner," She smiled like a little child, "Lean forwards," She neared her head to his as he leaned forwards, "Do you want to have fun again tonight? I liked it a lot."

"Sure, if you want," He said leaning back and continuing his food, "How often do you eat this?"

"A lot, once or twice a week."

"Not too much then, this is cooked amazingly, I am a terrible cook, I've never eaten anything this amazing, and you eat this all the time."

"I don't always eat this but, well, I don't know, I guess I eat like royalty."

"You do."

"Tell me about that work, you know, the one you did when you left without tell me anything, how was it? Was it hard? Was it tiring?"

"I actually want to thank Lord Piciniarus for the work, he called the Abyssal Lord, the brother of the Death of the World, I think it helped."

"Wait, what do you mean 'it helped'? Helped with what?" He heard her response and then realized what he had just said. He had talked about the Death of the World, and something that helped, "Vidian? Tell me, what did it help with?"

"Forget it, forget it."

"No," Her answer made his heart race, sweat appeared on his forehead and his mind rushed uncontrollably, "Tell me, you can't hide things like this from me."

"Um, how do I put this?"

"How do you put what?"

"You know, the reason I don't want to marry you now, is that, I know how I am going to end Lord Eternum's quest."

"How is that?" She wasn't happy at all about him having lied to her and having hidden the reason he wouldn't marry her, "I thought you didn't, did you lie to me?"

"Not exactly, but, the end of my quest, involves me killing the Death of the World, I don't even know if I will be able, but I will need to, so I didn't want to promise anything, since I don't even know if I am going to return or if I will even complete it."

"Why did you lie to me?"

"I didn't want you to think the person you love, and you love so much would die or would have the chance of dying, I don't know if you would've felt the same if you knew that I was going to die or could die."

"I don't care, if you die at least you would've died saving the world, and me," He let out a sigh of relief, "But for the lie, we can come to an agreement."

"I am absolutely fine with that."

"Then, I can forgive you," She still seemed as if she hadn't forgiven him, looking annoyed throughout the meal.

He was swimming through the waters around the Seakin realm. All the Seakin of the city were waiting outside of the city, looking towards the Abyssal Sea as he had asked. He soon stood near the gates of the Abyssal Sea.

Abyssal Lord, your master has returned, emerge to see him. The ground began to shake as a massive bone hand emerged from the dark and grabbed onto the seafloor and pulled up. Greeny's massive head appeared and he emerged like he had when he was fighting Vidian.

My master, have you found a name to give me?

I have, I thought of Greeny, I am not good on names.

I am fine with that name, master, what have you called me for?

Come with me, towards the Seakin city, I have to show them who you really are, just don't attack them.

If you say so, master, Vidian stood on Greeny's massive head as the rest of his body slowly emerged from the dark, he was a massive, quadrupedal creature that was just a set of bones held together. The massive body was trailed by a long bone tail that scraped along the seafloor as the tremoring beast walked towards the city.

He neared the city on Greeny's head. He noticed the people start to panic as the creature neared them. He was larger than most of the city and each step rose massive sand clouds. Two serpent Abyssals circled around him as they chased each other through the openings in Greeny's body, slaloming though the bones and around him.

Stop here, Greeny stopped instantly and the serpent creatures floated next to him, Bow your head and allow me to explain this to them, tell your Abyssals to stay where they are.

Of course, master, Greeny lowered his head and Vidian stepped off of it and swam towards the seafloor. He placed his feet on the seafloor and noticed Gillo swimming towards him with Wavanti, Tea's father. They approached him and he smiled, with his arms open, showing Greeny and the two abyssal. The people were all in shock, they had always feared the Abyssals and now, here was the Abyssal Lord, obeying a human. He swam into the Temple with Gillo and Wavanti.

"What is that?! Are you trying to kill my people?"

"That is Greeny, the Abyssal Lord, I am his master, this is what I wanted to show you, you need not to have fear of the Abyssals anymore, they listen to me, and I have told them not to attack."

"And when you are gone?"

"My lord, I will be in charge at that point."

"You?"

"I gave the guard of Greeny to Gillo until I come back, or if I ever come back, he swore to not attack the city with the Abyssals no matter what, he swore that to the gods of this temple, and I trust him," Vidian bowed, "Tell you people that they have nothing to fear and that the Abyssals will never hurt them again."

"I am glad that we have let you stay in our city, you have protected it while being a total stranger, I thank you," He bowed and Gillo imitated him, "Now, come with me, I will tell the people what this is about," They left the temple and Wavanti swam to the front of the crowd and began gesturing with his arms, it was sign language. Once he was done, he pointed towards Vidian and all the people of the Seakin city placed their hands on their hearts and bowed their heads. He bowed back and then swam back to Greeny.

Thank you, Greeny.

Of course, master, shall I return to my domain?

Go, before anyone gets scared of you, and tell your Abyssals to never attack this city again, they can emerge, but not to attack the city or its people.

Understood, master, The massive creature backed up and then turned its giant body and began lumbering back to the gates of the Abyssal Sea where it would then plunge back into its dark domain. The two serpents followed it back to their habitats.

"So you are that thing's master?" She said flinging him back onto the bed, "Interesting, I think that we have yet to make that agreement, am I correct?"

"You are, but I think I already know what you are going to ask for."

"Do you really?" She lay above him and began whispering in his ear, "I'll forgive you completely if I become your master tonight."

"Whatever you want, my lady," He rolled her onto her back and began kissing her neck and shoulder. She quietly moaned as his hands felt up her body.

"This, this, this is amazing."

"Do you want me to continue? Or do you want something else?"

"Ohhh, you decided to let me be your master."

"We had an agreement, no?"

"Keep pleasing me like you were doing."

"As you wish."

He awoke with her above him, awake as well. He turned his head and saw that outside, the sun wasn't out yet. She hadn't noticed that he was awake. She brushed his hair with her hand and lay a soft kiss on his cheek. She sighed and moved off of him, "You can keep going," She jumped.

"Vidian, I didn't know you were awake."

"I noticed," He smiled and sat up before yawning, "That was fun, yesterday."

"Really? Wasn't I doing too much?"

"No, I think that it suits you, that role you took," He turned and kissed her, "I have a work to do, I'll be going, I have to go to the temple."

"When will you be back?"

"I don't know, don't wait for me though, I'll be back tonight if not earlier."

"Okay, well, have fun," She sighed, "See you later."

"I'll be back, don't worry," He got up and grabbed his clothes, "You really seemed to be having fun last night, I guess we all have a hidden personality in us."

"What is yours?"

"Maybe I'll tell you one day, that is, if I find it," He joked as he pulled on his pants and tied his belt, "Well, time to go do my final work of this blessing, I wonder what it will be."

"Did they not tell you?"

"Nope, it is a surprise apparently, probably something that needs time and thinking, not something that is straight forwards, that is why I think that it is a surprise."

"Well, good luck, Vidian," She smiled and blew him a kiss as he left the room.

The sun had only started rising. He was already swimming down to the temple, it was faster than walking. The city was still asleep. He created fins like the ones the Seakin had and his fingers webbed and his speed increased. He swam down into the temple and his extras disappeared. He stood in front of Raynn and Tempestral. He bowed his head.

"Lady Tempestral and Lord Raynn, I am here for my works to complete my blessing."

"We know that," Tempestral began.

"We'll give you your work, don't worry about that," Raynn added, speaking in tandem.

"Worry about what is to come."

"The actual works."

"I am guessing they are combined?" Vidian asked, interrupting them.

"Yes, you are correct."

"We have prepared a small challenge for you."

"It is very simple on paper."

"Yet complicated in practice."

"Your final work for the Blessing of the Sea."

"Is to make a storm."

"What?!" They smiled at him and then turned, walking away, leaving him with that, "How am I supposed to do that?"

"You have all of today and tomorrow to think of it."

"If you try it out before."

"And it works, you'll pass."

"I'll see what I can do, what type of storm?"

"Anything, with lightning and rain, waves if you want, I'll give you the clouds," Tempestral said as she snapped her fingers, "Just summon the clouds by thinking of, hmm, thinking of, um."

"By thinking of an actual storm," Raynn helped her, "And they'll come to you."

"We wish you good luck."

"Thank you, Lord Raynn and Lady Tempestral," They left the room leaving him alone with the task at hand, to make a storm. He left the bubble temple and entered the open sea. He hoped that it would help him think about a way to complete his work. He sat down and thought long and hard, thinking of any possibility, how on earth was he going to make a storm? He needed rain and thunder, the two things they had asked for specifically, and waves, if he wanted. He looked out to see, puzzled by the mention of waves. He suddenly had an epiphany. The waves, the rain, the lightning and the thunder, he knew a creature that would be able to create waves and send water so high that it would be rain, he could probably find a creature that's roar would be the thunder and creatures that would be the bolts of lightning. It now seemed so obvious, even if he had spent an hour thinking about it. He began swimming towards the Abyssal Sea, he would need to call upon Greeny and his beasts again, this time, not to fight nor to show peace, but to recreate nature's most perfect display of discord, a storm at sea.

He wanted to know if Greeny would go to the sun, it had hurt him before to tame him, maybe it actually did, maybe it was something he would need to get used to. Vidian thought as he swam towards the Abyssal Sea. He would probably have to make Greeny go to the surface, maybe he could use the storm to stop the beams from hurting him, but first he needed to see if there were creatures that could roar for the thunder and be the lightning, he was sure Greeny could cause enough water to splash into the air and create waves but he needed to be sure on the rest.

His feet found the floor near the gates of the Abyssal Sea. He stood still and called Greeny. A massive hand emerged seconds later and dragged the massive body to the surface. His head soon followed and he stood half of his body out of the Abyssal Sea.

You called for me.

I have a task given by the gods, I think I need you to help me for it.

What is the task?

To create a storm.

What is a storm?

I need your power, the force you used against me when we fought, I need creatures like those serpents that pulse electricity thought their body.

What for?

To make a storm, at the surface.

I don't want to.

Because of the sun? I think I can help with that.

If you say so, but that is it? Some of my sisters can do that.

I need beasts that can roar.

Roar? Some of them roar underwater, I'll call for them as well.

Let's go to the surface.

How are you going to deal with the sun?

Just follow me, He moved onto Greeny's head and the massive creature slowly lifted off of the floor and pushed itself up to the surface as storm clouds gathered above them. The gathered clouds blocked the majority of the sun beams as Greeny broke the surface. Vidian stood on Greeny's head as he looked around.

"How do you like it?" Greeny looked around, "Can your creatures survive up here?"

They should be able to, what do you need?

"I need visible electricity, maybe large beasts, and a few of them, do you have that?"

I think I do, master, I can call them forth, what else? You talked about beasts that can roar, I'll call the beasts that roar even underwater.

"I'll have to see if I can do what I want with this, it might be complicated but I hope I have the right idea, I think they gave me this hint with the waves."

The waters started to get agitated, waves started to clash against Greeny's body as he stood with his upper body above the surface. Four massive serpent creatures rose from the sea. They were completely silver with golden eyes. They had a pair of webbed hands each. One of them had a long white mane, the leader.

These are the Silver Sisters, some of the most powerful creatures in the Abyssal Sea.

"I need a sound, a roar, a deep, rumbling roar, loud enough to follow up on these Silver Sisters and their lightning, do you have that?" Greeny blinked his massive eyes and a series of loud roars echoed from beyond his vision in the sea. They have vivid green frills with solid, black bones that held the frills. Their eyes were a mix of purple and blue, they had randomly spread red spikes on their backs and four golden webbed fins. They all floated around, the much larger, Greeny. They bowed their heads as Greeny turned to look at them.

These are the ones you need.

"Good, I want you to tell the serpents to launch themselves out of the water, to them use their electricity as the fall back down."

I'll tell them to, tell me if it is what you want.

After hundreds of attempts, the sun began to set. Vidian sighed as they were off timed. He sighed again as they roared at the wrong time, "Wait, Greeny, tell them to roar when the serpents hit the water."

Of course.

They shot out of the water into the sky as Greeny created massive waves. They looked perfect with their electric bodies and as soon as they hit the water the three other creatures roared, "Perfect!" He punched the air, "Thank you, Greeny, tell your creatures that they can rest for now, I will be back later."

Yes master, rest well.

Vidian walked down the hallway of the palace. He stopped in front of Tea's door. He heard nothing. He walked in and saw her clothes tossed around the room in disorder. He walked into the bathroom and saw her sitting, alone looking at her hair. He quietly removed his clothes and walked into the bath. She turned her head as his foot broke the water. She smiled at him and threw herself at him, "You're back!"

"I was gone for not even a day," He said looking down on her as he sat down and she sat on his lap, "I guess your day was boring," He said passing his hand through her hair several times.

"Uh-huh."

"What did you do?"

"Nothing, like usual."

"I have to go tomorrow again, I need to finish my work, and then collect my blessing, and, well."

"Move on," She finished his sentence, "It's fine, just promise you'll come back to see me."

"I can't promise that."

"Why not?"

"Well, my quest is on the harder side."

"Oh, yeah, I forgot," She rest her head on him, "It scares me to think of what you will have to go though."

"I don't think of it."
