Chương 5: Experimentation, Crew and Comfy
Leisurely walking on the meadow towards the stream while storing pieces of woods, tree branches and leaves on the ground into inventory, i contemplated many ways on how i can take really good care of my lovely guinea pig.... or bunnies, to be exact, mini bunnies.
Lets put aside those lovely ideas for later, i am getting thirsty again and haven't eaten yet..... There are only two things i can eat, the first is those white yellowish berries and the second is a mini bunny carcass..... Let's go with the carcass first, why risk poisonous fruit when you can eat succulent meat.
'Hmmmm, starting a fire by way of rubbing a stick on a piece of wood first to create hot coal looks easy enough, especially now that my stats all increased by 3 points. This will be fun, i never done it before, let's do it).
... 1 hour later, an ember finally started and Hideyo can finally start roasting the bunny.
Now the bunny carcass needs to be skinned and cleaned first before roasting it, but that could take a while.... I remember seeing an option to dismantle in the Inventory, using that would decrease a lot of time needed to prepare the meat.

As i agreed, it instantly dismantled the carcass into several pieces (meat, leather, innards, blood, organs and horns), and stored it into the same inventory slot, now with the name {Dismantled Mini Bunny's Carcass}.
'Interesting, it was quick and and efficient, furthermore, by storing all of that into one slot will saves slots usage. I wonder if i can dismantle living things in the inventory??? Hmmm, for now, i only need the meat.'
I pulled the meat, wood, branches and leaves out of the inventory and immediately roast using a makeshift roasting pit situated near the water stream. However, instead of waiting just for the food, i've decided to make several experiments (Old habits die hard i guess, hehehe).
First, i notice that when i stored the bunnies, the names of their race appears as Mini Bunny, also the wood, branches and leafs appears to come from the same tipe of tree which is called Guardian Trees. Now storing the berries, i notice the change in the slot from ????? -> To Poisonous White Tusks Berries.
'Phew, it's a good thing i did not eat that. Now let's dismantle it and see what happens.'
After i willed it, the berries was dismantled into pieces (Poison, juice, seed, mesocarp/the meat of the fruit/pulp and the exocarp/outer layer/skin of the fruit).
'From this result we can conclude that poison can be extracted from food for save consumption. Hohohoho, Very Interesting, this needs further testing.'
'Now, i let's investigate the condition of my cute bunnies, shall we?' as i summon one of them, after all i would not want to be ganged up upon, once is enough.
The Mini Bunny appears with a pitiful condition still passed out because their condition is maintained exactly as before. Surprisingly there's something something else appearing before my very eyes while i carefully observe the little rascal.

As i read the system info, cold sweats pour down my back as i realized that death almost strikes me on in a form of a damned magic bunny attack.... The only reason i am not dead is because my Mg Defence is a bit higher..... Even the stats of that damned bunny is higher than this new body's basic stat...
"YOU CURSED BUNNIES, I WILL FREAKING MASSACRE THE LOT OF YA DAMNED BRATZ!!!!!!" I yelled while retrieving and equipping the Black Iron Umbrella.
[Negative emotion detected, Devil's Aura activate].
As if hearing my cue, the bunny slowly woke up and shakes it's furry little head, and saw the same guy which fought with him and his comrade standing just a few steps away standing with the same baleful aura and a menacing black umbrella, roasting the carcass of it's friend while there is no ally in sight... Feeling devastated with no hope, the little bunny could only make one last act of survival..... Bending forward, facing it's horn down to the ground while two huge ears fell side ways a bit to the front, almost like a japanese dogeza (usually as a form of submission).

The sudden surprise halted my rage, and suddenly i calmed down, slowly i ponder 'Well, i am alone in this darned world, also it is also partly my fault anyways, so ok. At least i won't be alone and an emergency food source will be near.

"Ahhhh, the hell with it, at least i gained a subordinate and an increase in my survival skill. Oi, you bunny brat, come over here, i see you are hurt, here's something for you. Open your mouth wide."
The Mini Bunny slowly move towards it's master, when it is near the new master, the bunny innocently opens his mouth wide as instructed. Suddenly, a sweet liquid drops into his mouth and slowly went towards the stomach, invigorating and increases the healing proses. Closing it's mouth, looking at the master with admiring eyes.
"Ok, White Tusk's juice effect experiment successful, it seems to heal Hp, by how much is uncertain, because the bunny's hp is full, let's see if there is a side effect on..... Aghhh it's hard to call you if you are nameless, let's call you Ichidaime."
Suddenly the bunny shines in a white light for several second and hops around happily.

'Granting names have such an effect?? But if i add new variables, i will never know wether there is a side effect or not from the juice, besides it's getting late and i want to focus on subordinating the others first then move on to checking out the umbrella before resting.'

"Holy mother of ghost?!?! Was that you, brat??? Hold on, it is as if the sound was coming from my brain, let me try it."
'Uhummm testing one, two, three. Oiiiii, Ichidaime, was that you?? Respond if it is so little brat.' Slowly there's a feeling of being connected within the mind.
'Yes master, it is i, Ichidaime, standing by to convince my brethren to join my liege. Is there any further instruction. Myuuuuu'
'No, i was just establishing communication, carry on.'
'By your will, master.'
After Ichidaime's reply, i disconnected the invisible connection in my mind and thought to myself. 'Telephatic communication, this does makes it easier to instruct them, but the myuu in the ending is a bit annoying, but let's continue on.'
There are 229 Mini Bunnies to go, so i summon them one by one then cast subordinate skill while Ichidaime is helping me out by convince them to submit. At first there was resistance, but it is getting easier because as more of them joins me, all of them ganged up on convincing them to join me and my skills leveld up (Subordinate skill rose from lvl 1 to lvl 5 and Judgement Stare rose from lvl 1 to 3) or it could be due to i was eating. While doing so, the Mp occasionally ran out and have to be recharged, so during my Mp recharge time, i wait and subordinating them. I also looked at my umbrella.
'This thing feels similar to my old umbrella, the only difference is it is made of stronger materials. Oddly enough every part of it is made of iron but still malleable. Apparently, it folds and unfolds easily even with a simple command from my mind, so it does not need to be done manually. Hmm, i am curious as to their shape changing capabilities, but for now let's set up the tent mode because it's getting late and it has been one busy day.'
As i have just finished the subordination process of the last bunny, i ordered them to go inside my Inventory and use the tent mode command of my umbrella.
The umbrella suddenly enlarged into a 3×3×3 meter size tent from it's original 1,3 meter length and 20 cm width (in weapon mode). It almost look like a giant black pudding suddenly erected.
'Hmmm?? There is no door or window?? How am i supposed to get inside this tent???'
Slowly i stretch my arm touching the wall of the tent, suddenly a prompt appears.

I was instantly teleported inside a room the size of a very small studio apartment where, at my back there is some kind of a black door frame without the hinges where i could probably teleport to enter and exit the tent. Across where i am standing, there is a white single sized futon rolled out horizontally on a wooden base, elevating the futon about 20 cm from the floor. The rest of the room was completely white. The wall and floor was one of those white synthetic wall with a similar feel to a hard but smooth fiber glass in a modern house.
The only part of it that's a bit different is at my right side there is a cubicle around 2×1,5 meter with a white sliding door facing at me. After i opened it, the view inside left me speechless and touched.
'Thank you dear deities for providing this tent with a modern toilet and a shower room.' orz
Of course i used it all immediately. It appears that the tent automatically absorbs nearby water source so the indoor plumbing works perfectly, even the shower provides invigorating hot shower. The only thing lacking is that i have no other clothes besides my equipment set, so i wear the shirt and pants while i toggle off the rest (tried this out while trying to undress myself, unequiping unnecessary).
As i lied on the futon feeling relaxed from the shower, something is making me feeling a bit anxious.
'There is no pillow.... Decades of slipping on one to suddenly not using one is like an alcoholic quitting cold turkey..... Hmmm, let's try a substitute for now.'
"Summon Ichidaime." I did not have to sound it out, but the silence in this room is deafening, so making a sound is necessary to balance it, plus it sounded like a mage calling his summon, which is cool (^v^).
'Good evening, Masssssyuuiiiiiii, heghe' That was the sound of Ichidaime being grabbed instantly and put on the head part of the futon.
'Ichidaime stand still and act as my pillow for tonight. Remember, no movement that may interrupt my sleep!'
'Myu~u, understood master.'
'Ahhh finally a good night's rest. Oh my, this is quite comfortable, perhaps i will use the bunnies as my pillow from now on, at least untill i find a decent one.'
Thus is the end of the day for Hideyo, but the start of a long restless night for Ichidaime, due to the fact that he still remembers that the master could one hit kill him even while sleeping, also the skill Devil's Aura was still Toggled On...
