Chương 1350: A World Too Weak
All this time that Julian has spent in this world, most of it has been spent traveling and exploring it. Meeting new people, tasting new foods, finding new places, and catching new pokemons which he then trains to become stronger.
He genuinely enjoys it. It's like seeing his own kids training and growing stronger in front of his eyes, and the perfect example would be Infernape.
Infernape has been with him since the very beginning, as he was just a little Chimchar. Chimchar grew stronger through training and evolved into Monferno, and then into Infernape, but it wasn't the end.
Infernape continued to grow stronger, and the bond between them increased even further. Julian can't ever imagine a life without Infernape by his side.
Now Infernape has grown so much stronger that Julian doesn't even know how strong he is. Of course, he knows the stats that Infernape has but he doesn't know how they apply to the real world. Is it enough to destroy a whole country or maybe even the whole planet?
And it's not just Infernape. His Snorlax, Gengar, Electivire, and many of his very first pokemons have reached a level where they can be considered a natural threat.
As he continued to travel, he caught new pokemons, focused on training them, and then used them to fight other pokemons, and in process made them grow stronger.
The biggest threats that Julian has faced to this day are not humans but pokemons, pokemons that can change the climate, alter land mass, control winds, and have power over space and time.
These are things that are beyond any human's control, sure they have been a factor in those battles of his, but they played very insignificant roles when Julian looks at it through a grander lens.
That's what they are, insignificant. Julian has come to a realization that he has exceeded what this world can offer. Sure, there are always new challenges with newer pokemons to catch and train them to grow stronger.
But if he was forced to choose his best pokemons and go against the world, he realized that they stood no chance. No matter how strong the opposition is, he can crush them all with ease.
His previous beliefs that one man cannot win a war have changed. In this world, he doesn't need an army to fight a war. He and his pokemons are all he needs. But to do so, he needs to be more serious and lethal in his methods.
With this new realization, he couldn't help but laugh awkwardly at his situation. If this power belonged to someone else, they could have easily taken over the world and established a rule that no one could question, not even the strongest of legendary pokemons of this world.
With this, he also realized that he doesn't have any great ambitions like world domination or becoming the strongest, he just wants to have fun traveling, meeting new people and pokemons, and on the way, cleaning up some mess like these buffoons that are below him.
"Looks like I should clear this up," he says and decides to take action.
"Charizard, down," he orders.
Charizard flaps his strong wings and dives at incredible speed.

The Cipher soldiers who are on patrol suddenly get alerted by a sharp beeping sound from their wrist devices.
They panic and look at their device to see that an intruder is approaching.
*INTRUDER ALERT* *INTRUDER ALERT* *INTRUDER ALERT*
Sound starts to blaze through the speakers alerting every Cipher Soldier on the island.
They all look up and start aiming their gun at the sky while also bringing out their pokemons, ready to bombard their intruder.
But to their surprise, they only see a single dot approaching them from the sky. At first, they feel like laughing at the situation, but they hear their leader's order to annihilate the intruder and not hold back.
As they are just ordinary soldiers, they cannot go against their leader's order, so they start bombarding the incoming dot with firepower and pokemon moves while pitying the intruder.

Julian sees the incoming attack and sighs.
"Protect"
Julian orders. Charizard forms a dome of energy in front of him as he continues to fly forward.
Within seconds, the very first round of energy beams and bullets start making contact with the Protect energy dome, but they are all useless as they either completely lose their energy in an explosion or get deflected by it.
Charizard flies right through the bombardment and lands hard on the island causing a few meters around the landing zone to shake violently.
The cipher soldiers in the vicinity felt their whole body shake as they lost their balance and fall on their asses.
They get nervous and look up at the dust that has risen; they try to get back to their feet as the dust slowly settles down.
As the dust finally settles down, the silhouette of a man and a Pokemon is revealed.
The man is wearing a long black coat with black hair and bright crimson eyes while the Pokemon standing next to him is a massive black Charizard.
They both look intimidating, especially the Charizard, who has a blue fire spewing out of its mouth.
'I'm fucking dead' is the thought of many soldiers as they see the intruders.
