Chương 9: Chapter 8: The Truth
The flash of light separated the sisters, Ruby was in an abandoned warehouse while Emilia remained in the cave with her sons. Confused at what occurred Emilia went on looking for her sister, however before she began she was stopped by Erza and Sakura.
Sakura: "Raven? Where are we?"
Erza: "Most importantly how did you transport us here? Spatial transportation is not exactly easy to do."
Emilia remains silent to their questions, other then Erza and Sakura she felt another presence in the cave. She brought up her hand and faced it toward the two. They guard themselves, Emilia shoots a beam of light passing between them hitting the wall behind them. The wall shatters like glass revealing Cinder and the two unknown Grimm monsters beside her. Erza and Sakura look behind them in surprise, Emilia hovers in front of them. The two Grimm monsters charge at her, she hovers in place not making a move. The Grimm monsters attack her, right before they were about to land a blow a halo appears on her head. The Grimm were repelled away and exploded in a puff of smoke.
Cinder: "There goes what I thought were the strongest Grimm to ever exist. You didn't even motion to do anything and you killed them, cheater..."
Erza: "Raven how did you do that?"
Emilia: "I did nothing but raise my energy by a little, those monsters were repelled away and destroyed because they could not handle it hitting them."
Sakura: "So you're powerful enough to not even lift a finger and let your energy do the killing. And here I thought the King's power was monstrous bu-"
Erza: "Sakura this isn't Raven, just minutes ago we were eating in the Yukimura home but now we're in an unknown place, the sweet little girl we know has yet to learn about spatial magic. What I want to know is who is controlling Raven's body and if you will please relinquish it from your control, I made a promise to a friend that I would protect her until she returns home from her mission."
Sakura: "(Bitch I was in the middle of saying something.)"
Emilia: "And do you intend to uphold that promise?"
Erza: "Of course yes."
Sakura: "(I'm totally being ignored.)"
Emilia hovers closer to Erza and pat's her head while giving her a smile, "thank you. The girl you are protecting is none other then me, I reincarnate every lifetime without my memories because of a traumatic experience I went through. I know this is confusing but trust me this isn't a possession, this body is mine just not my original."
Sakura: "To think that my disciple is actually a goddess, I have nothing to teach you seeing as you have way more experience and power then I do."
Emilia: "Hold that thought Sakura, my dear sons go back to heaven and bring Lucifer and Michael here. Since this body is still at a kid's age my time limit is much more shorter then the other time I awoke."
God of Light: "Of course mother."
God of Dark: "We will return in two days."
Emilia nods and the two set out to heaven.
Emilia: "Sakura hold out your hand."
Sakura did as she was told, Emilia brands her hand with a mark that looks like a dragon.
Emilia: "This will allow you to wield my scythe, keep it with you until the archangels arrive. Fill Tenma and Yuzu in on the situation when they find you."
Sakura: "Okay I will, thank you."
Cinder: "What about your sister? She's still not here with us."
Emilia: "As much as I want to go and find her I cannot. My power is too much for this little body to handle, I can halt it's destruction by going back to sleep."
Erza & Sakura: "Destruction!?"
Cinder: "I see, do you want to relay a message for my leader?"
Emilia: "Yep, find my sister."
Cinder: "That's all?"
Emilia nods answering her question. She then fell down on Erza's arms and went back into her slumber to keep her current body from being destroyed. That however was just an excuse for her to go back to sleep until her archangel children arrive on Remnant.
Cinder: "Guess I better go then."
Cinder left the cave while Erza and Sakura stood there in confusion at what Emilia mentioned about her body's destruction.
{Ruby's POV}
I open my eyes to see an odd person with blue skin and a blue horn gently stroking my hair.
Ruby: "Are you a faunus?"
She shook her head to answer my question. I try to get up but she pushes me back down on her lap.
¿?: "Not yet rest more, you will not get another chance to do so for quite a while."
That's weird, she didn't open her mouth to talk. Am I hearing her voice in my head, just who is this girl?
¿?: "I'm sorry but I cannot tell you who I am just yet. Before going unconscious what is the last thing you remember?"
What the hell did she just read my mind?
¿?: "Yes I did, I linked our minds so that I can hear your thoughts, it's called telepathy."
Telepathy? What is that?
¿?: "No sense in explaining it when it's self-explanatory at this point. Answer my question, what is the last thing you remember before going unconscious?"
Well... the last thing I remember is summoning a great or supreme one after making contact with a scythe. That heavenly being is just a little girl who happens to be my sister, she has knowledge of my past, a past not even I have memory of. I asked her if she could restore my memories but a flash of light engulfed us which lead to this confusing setting.
¿?: "So they call her the great one, interesting. I guess it is natural for them to revere her as that since she is their creator."
So is there anyway you can bring me back to Emilia?
¿?: "Yes but first let me restore your memories."
You can do that?
¿?: "Yes I can, just as long as you don't mind having a horn like mine. Do you?"
If it helps restore my memories then I don't mind at all. But before you do that may I ask why you would help a stranger like me, what if I'm an evil person, what if I'm your enemy?
¿?: "I would not be stroking your hair speaking to you like this if you were evil or my enemy. You don't really give off that sort of vibe, plus you are her daughter so I am well informed on who you are."
Her daughter... you know my mother?
¿?: "Yes I do, you will see who she is now, close your eyes."
Okay...
[An hour later]
I open my eyes, tears dropping from the memory of that monster who killed both me and my mother. The odd blue girl wiped my tears away and kisses my forehead.
¿?: "Judging by those tears the spell I used successfully restored your memories."
Ruby: "I just can't believe it, my own sister out of everyone, the one who protected me since I was a baby is the very person who ended up killing me and destroying everything."
¿?: "Shocking is it not, she pretended to be kind for so long until the opportunity to strike presented itself."
Shut up
¿?: "I know this is much to take in but keep in mind that I am not your enemy."
I get up and look back at the blue girl, "Send me back to Vale."
¿?: "Are yo-"
Ruby: "Just do it!"
She brought up her hand and snapped her fingers warping me to a town in Vale. I can't believe this is happening, my own sister killed everyone in Ciro. She betrayed and broke my heart like I was nothing, like I was a homeless stranger asking for drugs. That fucking liar if I ever see her again I will kill her, I'm going to make sure she pays for what she did. I take flight and head home, I need a quiet place to think.
{Yuzu's POV}
Erza: "And that is how we ended up in this place with Raven."
Yuzu: "Interesting story, at least Raven is unhurt. Mom we should head back to Menagerie for now."
Tenma: "I don't have enough mp to do another warp."
Sakura: "HA! I see what you did there author."
Erza: "Um... What?"
Yuzu: "Ignore her, Mom just channel my power. It'll be enough to get us all back to Sienna."
Tenma: "Okay but after that we will need to rest up for a day, spatial transportation takes so much magic power to do."
I nod, everyone grabbed on to Tenma and she warps us into the large hallway inside the white fang building.
Tenma: "I'm definitely out of magic power now."
I give mom a little of my energy, "I can't have you getting sick on me."
Tenma: "Thanks but are you sure? You barely have any yourself now."
Yuzu: "Don't worry mom I'll be fine."
Adam: "Hey it's the nice women from before, you two are here again? The high leader must favor you two."
Yuzu : "Oh hey kid, you finished with your homework yet?"
Adam: "Yep! Now I'm bored and have nothing to do."
Yuzu: "Oh that's good, about you finishing your homework I mean. Where is your father?"
Adam: "He went to the restroom, he told me to wait here."
Yuzu: "Oh okay, well me, mom, and these three will be going in to talk with Sienna."
Adam: "Okay see you later maybe."
I nod, smile and pet his head. The large door behind him opens revealing a muscular man with a beard and yellow eyes walking out. Judging by the look on that man's face he and Sienna must have had a displeasing conversation. Me and everyone walk in after letting the muscular man through.
Sienna: Welcome back, I see you have three new companions with you here. Are they friends?"
Tenma: "Yes, this individual with the white jacket is Sakura Nastume, the other one wearing the white and black uniform is Erza Natsukawa, and the little girl she is carrying is my daughter Raven."
E & S: "It is a pleasure meeting you."
I walk to Sienna while the talking continues.
Sienna: "Likewise, any friend of Yuzuha and Tenma are welcome to the White Fang with open arms."
Erza: "Much appreciated ma'am"
Sienna: "So were you able to apprehend your target?"
I touch Sienna's ears flustering her then gently rub them. She didn't push me away from her thankfully, I thought she would though.
Sienna: "Umm... what are you doing?"
Yuzu: "I couldn't resist anymore, your tiger ears are absolutely adorable."
Sakura: "I was thinking the same!"
Sienna: "Stop petting me..."
Yuzu: "Why?"
Sienna: "Because I do not like it."
Yuzu: "If that were true then you would have stopped me before I started."
Sienna: "Just get the hell away from me already!"
Dammit I don't want to stop it's so cute! I back away from her and sit down on the floor. I hear mom and the others giggling at what just happened, "sorry I just couldn't resist the urge to pet you."
Sienna: "It's fine just warn me next time, that completely through me off."
She said next time, which means she is going to let me pet her again, yay this excites me!
Tenma: "Our target has evaded us for now but we will capture her soon. The magic we used to warp ourselves out and back here drained us almost completely, we need a place to rest for a while."
Sienna: "You lot are welcome to stay with me to recover."
Tenma: "Are you sure?"
Sienna: "Yeah I would not mind the company."
I get up from the floor, "This is wonderful news, it's been a few days since me and Mom had a good night of sleep. Oh by the way where your guards?"
Sienna: "I sent them on an errand, they will be back in an hour or two."
Yuzu: "Okay so that leaves you open, seeing as how we joined your organization I'll offer you some friendly advice, never leave yourself be unguarded. With the right mindset and determination someone out there can plot to assassinate you during this vulnerable time."
Sienna: "Thank you, I'll keep that in mind."
Tenma: "So where is your home Ms. Kahn?"
Sienna got up from her seat and began walking the right, "follow me."
We follow her... to a wall, there better be a secret spa behind this wall. She put her hand on the wall and it opens up like an elevator door. Everyone walks inside but me, Sakura turned around confused as to why I did not follow.
Sakura: "Yuzu what's wrong?"
Yuzu: "It's nothing I'm fine, go with them I'll catch up in a bit."
She nods and catches up with everyone, I walk back to Sienna's throne and sit in front of it.
Yuzu: "You can show yourself now."
A little girl drops from the ceiling and crash lands on the floor with her butt.
Yuzu: "Nice landing, so want to explain me why you were spying on Ms. Kahn?"
The little girl got up, pointed at her lips, and shook her head responding to my question.
Yuzu: "You won't talk? Look I'm not so messed up that I would torture kids to get an answer even if they were trained assassins but I have other ways to make you talk."
I bring my hand up and prepare to snap my fingers. The little girl waves both of her hands while shaking her head no indicating she does not want me to snap my fingers. I put my hand down, she sighs in relief then gets closer to me with her hands up in the air.
Yuzu: "Smart choice, now answer my question."
She sat down in front me and pointed at her lips shaking her head again.
Yuzu: "Then how the heck am I supposed to know why you were up there."
She went in her pocket taking out her scroll, she points at the scroll then to me. I guess she is asking me for my number. I take out my scroll and the little girl snatched it from my hand tapping both scrolls together twice.
Yuzu: "Um what are you doing?"
She gave me my scroll back, she's listed as one of my contacts now.
Yuzu: "Oh that's what you were doing."
My scroll vibrates, it was the little girl texting me.
"I'm not able to talk like everyone else in the world."
Yuzu: "Oh so you're a mute individual."
She nods in response to what I said, "well that must suck. Since we can communicate now you should be able to answer my question Neo." She stares at me with a surprised expression on her face.
"You're giving me a nickname already?"
Yuzu: "Yeah do you like it?"
She happily nods, "good I'm glad you do. Now an explanation please?"
"The reason I have been spying on Sienna Kahn is because I believe she has something to do with my mother's death."
Yikes that is quite the reason.

Alastor115 Unfortunately this will be the last chapter for a while. For the whole month of February I will be busy with a mountain of work that needs finishing so I will not have time to continue writing this story. I will come back in March, goodbye for now you wonderful people!
