OLIVIA COOPER

We just come back from lunch and seat at the living room couch. He cannot let us go outside. I was so mad at him. He keeps telling me it's dangerous outside. What does he mean by dangerous? "Olive, "Lia called. I didn't listen. "Liv.," she called again. "Yeah," I said. "I have called you a few times but you didn't listen. What are you dreamy about?"She said with a mischievous smile. "are you thinking about my brother?" she asked. She raises her eyebrow up and down. "of course not. " I said with a small laugh. Why should I think about him? "Really....." she said and smile. "Yeah. Stop it, Lia. " I said. I rolled my eyes.

"Okay... okay... Your face looks funny when I say my brother, " she said between her laugh. I eyeing her and she stops laughing. "Olive, here have a library. Do you want to go? " she said and take a bag of chips in her hand. "I would like to go. I really love books. "I said. I love books. Who doesn't like a book will be bored in her life. Both of us going to the library. Lia twisted the knob of the door and we walked in.

The library got so many books. It's was my dream when I was young to have my own library. The smell of the book was so good. "It's really nice here, the smell of the book," I said with a bright smile. "Yeah, I love spending my time here," Lia said. She loves a book like me. Bookworm. "What genre you love?"She asked. "I love fantasy, romance, and others," I said. She looks excited. "Yeah me too, but the best books are romance genre. " Lia said. She loves romance. I just laughed.

I picked the book from the shelf. It really good and a nice cover. The title is 'me before you' by Jojo Moyes. The story was very good. I love reading it. Lia picked a book for herself. Both of us read the book until late at night. Lia was sleeping with her chips bag.

I walked to the shelf and pick out an old book. It's dusty. The book looks like a small diary. It looks really attractive. I take it. A photo slipped from the small diary book. I took the photo from the ground. I look into the photos. There are a girl and a boy smile brightly in the photos. They laughed. They look very young and beautiful. The boy looks like a younger Raffaele version.

"Liv, let go to sleep. " Lia said tiredly. Lia was awake. I put the photo into the small diary book. "Okay. " I said. Why did I take the diary? "What are you doing?" she asked lazily. "I just place the book in the shelf," I said. She nodded her head. Lia stands up and we walked out of the library. "Goodnight, Liv." She said. "Goodnight, Lia," I said.

We walked to our room. I twisted the knob of my room door. I walked in and close the door. I walked to the bathroom. Open the tab and pour the strawberry scent into the bathtub. I take off my clothes and jumped into the bathtub. It was relaxing. Who was the girl?. I can't stop thinking about the girl. Done with bath. I put on the silk robe. I laid on the bed and asleep.

That morning...

"Olive... Liv..wake up. " a voice called from my sleep. "5 minutes." rise my 5 fingers. I was so tired. "Wake up, Liv it's 8 am," Vale said. "Sir parents were coming around to visit," she said. I sat up. My eyes were open wide. Oh my gosh! His parents. I panicked run to the bathroom. "Slow down, Liv, " she said and laughed at me. "Don't laugh Vale. " I said. I close the door behind and take off my robe. I take a bath.

After a few minutes, I put on the robe. I walked to the closet.

"Liv, you should wear this. " Vale said. She picked up my dress. The dress is a casual dress.

It's pretty nice. I'm wearing a dress. "It's cute on you Live. " Vale said. I giggles. "we should be downstairs now Liv.," she said. "Yeah. "I said. I put on a sneaker. I'm so nervous. We walked downstairs to the dining room. "good morning, Liv and Vale," Lia said. " morning," I said. "I will be at the kitchen," Vale said. I about take a seat on the dining chair.

Footsteps walked to the dining room. Who was that? I stand up and froze. I turn around and averted my eyes down. Her parents coming with a woman look like a girl in the photo. She looks really pretty and beautiful. "Lia," her mother called. "Mother, father," she said and hugged them. I stand still. My hands were shaking.

"And you, Why are you here?" Lia asked. "Lia, I miss you. " the woman said with a teary voice. The woman must be missing her. "Why would you miss me?" Lia said. "Mother, father why did you bring her here? Can't you forget what she doing to brother, " she said with gritted teeth. She clenched her jaws."I'm sorry, Lia. "The woman said. Lia mother pulled the woman close to her and settle her down.

"You should not say sorry to me, Aurora. " Lia said."You fucking left my brother. He dying waiting for you so long. And where were you? You should not be here. GET OUT!" Lia yelled. I jolted. "okay enough, Lia! She came here for peace, Lia. Stop it, okay. "her father boomed out and shouted. "No, father. She should not be here. I don't want to see her here," Lia said. "Lia, she here wanted to fix her mistakes," her mother said. Lia shakes her head.

"It's okay, mum, dad," the woman said. "No, it's not okay. She just not in her state of mind," her father said. "Yes, I'm in my state of mind. What if Raffaele sees her. He would get mad. Besides, you would not be with him. He has someone more special," Lia said. Her father looking at me with a hard expression. He knows.

They take a seat. I stand still. Lia grabbed my hand and make me sit beside her. Vale serves us foods. "Where is Raffaele?" the woman said. "he's at Rome. " Lia said with an angry voice. She was still angry at her. "What is he doing there?" Mr. Roberto asked. "You don't know? He doing his work father." Lia replied.

We continue to eat the foods in silence. I eat my food. "Olivia Cooper."Her father said. I froze. What? I feel like I'm going to die. Mr. Roberto Romano never talks to me. I swallow my throat."Yes?" I said in a low voice. I hope he didn't hear my nervous voice. "I want to talk with you, later." He said with meaning on his face.

After finishing our food, I follow Lia father to the backyard. His face looks like he doesn't like me. Okay, I know it from the first time I'm here. Why are they not liking me here? "are you still with Raffaele? " he asked. Are we together? He never says that we are a couple before. He just a possessive man. "No. " I said and averted my gaze down. " Good, You two should not be together." He said. I froze. My eyes started filling with tears. I don't know why my eyes teary. Maybe I have fallen in love.

"Have he tell you anything?" he asked. "No. " I said with shake my head. I hold up my tears. Why did he doesn't told me yet? " look like I'm going to tell you. Do you want to disappear from his life? I can help you with that." He said. " I don't know. " I said. I don't know if I'm going to be away from him but now I have a feeling towards him. "Think wisely, Olivia Cooper," he said. I'm just silent.

"Both of you will not be together because he will be with Aurora that why I brought her back to him, " He said. "So, stick that on your head," he said with a stern voice. "Your choice," he said and hand me his number phone. He walked out from the backyard as nothing happened. My knees were weak and fall to the ground. I curled into a ball. My tears keep falling down. Yeah, he should be with her.

"I should avoid him after this but I can't. Why? " I said in low voice. I hide the phone number in my dress pocket. Why my heart ached? Why we should not be together? What should I choose? My head hurt. In the same time I don't want to be away from him but maybe I should be gone from him.
