The dangerous black fire could be seen everywhere as she attacked the two videttes; they had been forced on the defensive the moment they had attacked her.

The videttes might have the power, but they did not have enough experience to fight against the enemy like this. 

Still, they are doing fine; soon, more will join after they finish their respective battle. It is going slower than it likes to be, and there are more of them that are getting killed, but human kills are still more.

It did not matter if others died, as long as they killed the humans they were fighting; the only ones needed to be survived the vidette, whom it could control, and killing them was impossible.
