Vile, disgusting ml. Supposedly strong fl is totally overpowered and helpless against his abuse. This book is currently free to read, but it’s still not worth reading.
At first I was like, "Oh, a beautiful mysterious and overpowered FL. That's good." Then suddenly the ML entered the story. At first I tried to endure the ML's abusive love, if we can really call it love. But I have to dropped it at chapter 153 because I can't tolerate it anymore. I was looking for a doting ML who respect and trust the FL And an FL who firmly holds her ground and independent but not like this. I honestly thought that there's some changes in the author because the start of the story is somehow good but when the FL lived in the ML's palace, the character development as well as the writing style changed a lot. The ML doesn't really understand how to woo the FL. He always forced her, to the extent of locking her up, starving her and choking her. Yet, the FL still felt something for him. Two words: TOXIC RELATIONSHIP. Sorry not sorry. I can't continue this anymore. I manage to reached 153 chapters not because I enjoyed it but I honestly hoped for some changes but whether there'll be changes later on, I couldn't care less anymore.

awful. if you don't like dozens of chapters of sexual assault followed by the ML whining that the female lead doesn't like him and he can't figure out why give this a pass.
Tbh i didnt like the novel at all, didnt have anything to read so i just went with it. At the start the female lead is show to be cool, an assasin strong and what not, just for all to be for nothing as the male lead is better than her at everything, also their relationship is one of the worst i ever read (for the first 300 chapters at leat) he drugs her, hits her tortures her, abuses her and what not it start to get sick at some point; and she just takes it all despite being a master assasins. i dont want to spoil the other half of the novel that changes the plot 180° but if you can get past all the abuse then you should read the novel, the second half is better but i didnt like the change tbh, like i said i just keep reading because i didnt have anything to read and just wanted to see how this ended. To resume if you can get past all the abuse in the first half, and you are ready for the plot to change totaly in the second half to the clasical novels with reals gods and power ups then you should read it, if not then just pass it.
I just started reading this, till chapter 39 it's free. From 40 onwards it's chargeable by coins. The problem here is fast pass is not usable here, thie story only accepting coins. Which is unfortunate. I have to leave this book.
The synopsis is great as it describes the traits of the female lead but as I read more chapters and came across the male lead , it gives possessive vibe where it reaches to the point of being abusive and hard headedness. The 2nd lead is the same , abusive. Though I am not a total feminist, some plots in this novel implies that wives shall submit to their husband to the point of having their husbands have the final say in everything.

just one sentence: the ml needs a serious lesson about consent it's no fault of the translator but srsly the ml doesn't even respect the fl
The story development is good and pretty straightforward the only problem is FL's life if we see in both previous and present is not clear and mostly confusing and the biggest flaw is the tyrant feels too much overbearing which is the type you'd hate the most and the type that shows as a villain in most of the stories i'd be alright if FL likes him then I have no complaint but its like the FL is falling in love with the person who threatened her and was violent with her
There are inconsistencies like the FL and ML being said to be very close to the same strength but the ML always far overpowers the FL. Also, the ML isn’t much older than the FL but seems shocked by how strong the FL is when he is stronger. The FL is the leader of the assassin guild but always fights head in, which isn’t something an assassin would do. She should have just flashed around and killed the assassins the emperor from her birth country sent. They shouldn’t have seen her coming and just died, like their leader did at the end. She also shouldn’t have let any get away. Great translation but otherwise not good overall and the ML is particularly rough and abusive.
Not worth reading abuse ML and I hated the part were the FL is falling in love with him even when he shows no love/respect towards her. I hate these kinds of stories where the abuser gets a happy ending
Book is nothing else but a way to show how rapists make their victims fall in love wiTh the. so sweet isn’t it, And here our victim is supposed to be a strong assasi g, a powerful clan learder, but she has negative IQ few pretty fireballs, and self healing abilities . Also out powerful MC instead of getting revenge with her power thatcmakes the enemy feel regret, she behaves like a psycho and kills her enemies while the still hate her and don’t regret anything about their own wrongdoing. Like why Am i reading this? I want to ask all 5 star reviewers What on earth was lovable in this book? I can’t read more than 170 chapters, i thought atleast ML will stop his abuse towards MC when she first time cried in humiliation! But no that guy actually liked it! If this is not mentality of rapist what is? I thought ML would go on right path achieve her love for him nicely, which may stop MC from atleat behaving like psycho. Being merciless, is different from being a cruel psychopath.

I find the story good at first. But then later on, it becomes uninteresting for me. I dislike the male lead threatening the female lead. And I also dislike how the fl seems to be weak (?), I guess. But I commend the author for the good writing quality. The story has a nice pace.
Typical romance book on Webnovel. Strong female lead and strong male lead. But just mix in a bit of sexual assault, emotional manipulation, starvation, physical abuse and you have yourself this story. It's not really unlike any others on the site really. Also there's very clear review manipulation so take with that what you will.

I totally hate ML.He is an abusive guy who only knows to force FL. FL looked promising in the beginning with her cool and strong personality and that lasted only till she met ML. Even though she isn't totally submissive to him I don't feel like she is doing enough. ML says that he likes her but I honestly think he only has lust for her. I thought he would treat her better after few chapters but it's not happening. I've read till 153 and FL has suddenly started liking him for no apparent reason. I really tried to hang on to this novel as much as I can by trying to justify ML and FL. Like how he might not how to behave when in love or FL doesn't know how to overpower him or whatever. It really feels like a Stockholm syndrome cause she has been kept captive by ML for marrying him. Actually I hate all the males in this novel. Haven't found a decent one in this story.
I haven't even read it yet but just from reading the synopsis I already love it. Please unload all the chapters so I can binge read it all.

This story, as others have mentioned, had potential and the synopsis sounds like itd be a great read: reborn FL who is slightly OP and a doting, even more powerful ML? Fun, Right? Dead wrong. The ML from the very beginning denies the FL’s wishes and constantly forces himself on her. Her consent is NEVER given, at any point, and we’re supposed to forgive it all bc of how handsome and cool he is? No. DNF @ 41
Frankly I haven't read all of them. The female lead was a strong character at first but then her cool personality disappeared. I would continue to read if his cool style hadn't gone. Unfortunately I didn't like the male lead 😔
READERS BEWARE OF THIS NOVEL! I almost read 200 episodes but I can't continue anymore. I thought the ML was finally changing when the FL left him after her friend/sister/maid was crippled. But instead he ended up being worse than before. The ML is basically an overbearing psychotic rapist. Not only did he kidnap, imprison, black mail, drug, mentally and sexually abuse the female lead now he is also physically abusing her. The whole time I felt like I was reading a graphic episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. The kind that just makes your skin crawl at how the villan is portrayed as the "dashing and handsome" ML and every horrendous thing he does to the FL is seen as "romantic" and "testament of his love" to others. This is not love...it's a twisted kind of obsession he has over her. He doesn't respect her, he manipulates her however he wants and basically just treats her as a *** slave. This type of novel is the perfect example of how stockholm syndrome is developed in the victims...in this case, the victim is the FL. I feel so bad for the FL. After every thing she suffered in her previous and current life she ends up in a very oppressive and abusive marriage to the ML. I regret all the time and coins I used in reading this. If I knew the ML would be doing all those atrocious things to the FL, I wouldn't have bothered reading this novel. I don't want to continue reading this toxic "love" story where the FL ends up with her rapist. The description of the novel should have a warning to the readers of how abusive the ML is. Not everyone wants to read a novel with a toxic and twisted love plot. I really wish I could get a refund of all the coins I used.
This story is extremely confusing and choppy. There is bo proper flow feom scene to scene as it reads as if there are missing chapters or something. I only started to read it to get experience points but i couldn’t bear to finish it for even that long

Ml has some delusion that she needs to respect him and that he loves her but he only saw her once in her real appearance and sees her like an object to obtain including using drugs to "punish" her for her insolent words/acts even tho what he's doing is horrible I wouldn't fall in love with such a man even I feel the need to kill him just like the FL. it's kinda giving Stockholm syndrome vibe which I'm not into but for those who do please go ahead and read it.
