Chương 1: Chapter 1 Violet's pov

All my life,I've been running...it seems to be the only thing I can do...run from life,run from people and run from the cages that threaten to surround me like they used to 24/7 30/12. Darkness surrounds me in every second of my life.Freedom is a foreign word that I can only think of but dare not dream of.Why? Because I know that I can never experience it in my life and never means NEVER.

*flashback*

The old man has captured one more of my kind. The rest of my kind that I knew of had all disappeared-he isn't telling me anything,after all,I'm just a nobody.My hopes are shattered.The loneliness and the silence with the dread feeling that the only people I knew had died was killing me inside. I had to find a way out of that hell.My only hope was the new kid that the old man brought in today and our only hope was escape.We had to, even if it meant being hunted by others outside the cage,at least we would be able to feel the cold air on our skin and the soft breeze caressing our faces.

But right now,I have to gain the kid's trust which is easy due to what we are .The kid,Mateo,and I easily bond. He instantly knows what I'm planning and to make sure our plan works we show our best behaviour to the old man..we needed enough food.

It's been 4 weeks of us behaving like proper 'slaves' .We have been storing all our energy for the day we were really looking forward to.The day of our escape.Mateo's been really nice company.I'm seated on the cold floor of the cage waiting for the clock to tick close.Mateo and I decided to connect ourselves by the sakara bond .We make an unbreakable vow and we're bound by it forever.

"By the galaxy,I bind myself to my sakara,Mateo,and forever seal my soul to his.I will always remain safe for my sakara's sake even if that means we'll have to part."

I feel a tingling sensation in my mind and soon after ,my left shoulder really burns,I turn around to see Mateo's face full of pain.The mark was tattooing itself on our shoulders.I had a cute galaxy on my shoulder while Mateo had the sky and clouds on his...wait what??!!!!

This can't be..Mateo's my protector??He should never know about that.He should never know who I really am.That secret's supposed to die with me.He should never know that I'm a royal galaxier and he should never know that I'm destined for either of these 2 things:be queen of the whole universe or death.Obviously I choose death.

The old man has gone out and we get to work immediately.Our magic is the strongest alive...I wonder why the others never thought of escaping..we break out of the cage and start running.Our feet don't even touch the ground,it's almost like we're flying.I can feel Mateo breathing through our sakara bond.Suddenly,I'm scared,I can't feel Mateo anymore...

It's my first book so please spare me...

and galaxiers are magical creatures,some believe all the magic in the world comes from them .Sakara is ones soul friend..what keeps you sane in a brotherly sorta way.
