Madam Mary walks towards her and pats her shoulder softly. She speaks tilting Maya's head to face her "You want to go?".

Maya nods faintly.

Madam Mary smiles "I will arrange my own carriage and guards to escort you".

Maya smiles widely and whispers "Thank you..Mother".

Madam Mary embraces Maya and speaks "Remember something, dear. No one can live for you. If you are sad and worried about anything happening around you, then you shall speak to His Majesty. He may understand you and solve your worries".

Maya nods slowly 'Should I simply tell The Emperor that I didn't marry his son in the first place? Should I also tell him that I want to leave this country?'.

Madam Mary's words planted a new hope and calmness in her heart. Maya isn't much worried about this marriage now. She felt if she talks to The Emperor, then everything will be alright.

She smiles "Thank you for those words, Mother. I am delighted by your presence today".
