Chương 2: Is this a job or punishment?

Yeon Joo fly to the seventh heaven to hear that she got chosen by Jong Suk into his team. Everyone looked at her with envy without knowingly her job will not be as easy as other residents. "oppa SooBong, did I hear that I got to be in Dr Jong Suk team?" Yeon Joo asked Soo Bong with her childish face. Soo Bong slapped her head straight away and brought her back to the staff room. "Why you slapped me, oppa?" Yeon Joo rubs her back head. "We have to address him, Professor Lee. And I will hand over some of my jobs to you. You are the main person who is going to decide the case in ER would be present to him. The first rule, Prioritize kids and elderly. Second rules, prioritise the poor. you don't have time to slack off. if you don't have any patient memorize the book anatomy or another medical book, as he wants his team to be know all general knowledge about the human body. For example, yesterday morning, he tested us on the cardiothoracic disease. the person who is on his bad side for the day will assist him on his free clinic for the day," Soo Bong explained to her. "How we know the hint to read? we couldn't read his mind." Yeon Joo said to him. "He will let us know the area. Today, it will be obstetrics and gynaecology. I couldn't wait another day off," Soo Bong said to Yeon Joo. "Do we have rounds with him today?" Yeon Joo asked him. "Hey, You new lady. I know Jong Suk already choose you but doesn't mean that you are not respecting me!" Dr Moon screamed to Yeon Joo. "I am sorry, Dr Moon," Yeon Joo said while bowed to him. "Now, three lucky new residents will come with me to do induction and tour around the hospital. So you will not be lost in the hospital ground," Dr Moon said to them. Dr Moon assistant Dr Yang hand out a thick folder to them. "Please read it and let's go follow Dr Moon," Dr Yang said to them.

Soo Bong took Yeon Joo to change room. he handed her hospital scrubs outfit. "We have to always wear this when we are in the hospital," Soo Bong explained to her. They wear the ocean blue scrub with the rubber sandal. when they finished changing their clothes, he took her to the Emergency room nurse station. "Yeon Joo, let me introduce you. She is the wise Nurse Min, She is the precious scrub nurse for Professor Lee. Nurse Song, Nurse Han, and doctor Park. they are the permanent resident of the Emergency Room. she is a new resident from Professor Lee team, Kim Yeon Joo." Soo Bong said to them. "Welcome. Don't scare her on her first day." Nurse Min said to everybody. "Good morning, My name is Kim Yeon Joo. Nice to meet you all and I do need a lot of guidance from all of you senior," Yeon Joo said to them while bowed her body ninety-degree position. "Don't worry. Welcome to the war zone. You are so pretty. do you have a boyfriend?" Dr Park said to her. "Ah, I am sorry. No, I don't have a boyfriend," She stuttered to answer Dr Park question. "Leave her alone. Soo Bong takes exam 3 with Yeon Joo. your usual patient is here," Nurse min is giving an order.

In exam three, there is a guy in his forty complaining about shorted breath and chest pain. He comes every day to get angina medication before his work. He has to work as labourer due to a low-income family and his family depend on his daily wages to buy some food. "Mr Choi, you really need to do consul to the cardiothoracic department for your heart. let me check it?" Soo Bong took his stethoscope out to examine him. "Arghh Mr Choi, I forget. Can I ask my junior to check on you?" Soo Bong asked permission from him. "This pretty lady is a doctor? of course, she can check on this old man," Mr Choi said with his short breathe. Yeon Joo may be pretty but she got a good brain to memorize everything in a short time. She can analyse that Mr Choi will need an operation for his heart as he got cold sweat all over his body and swollen ankle. She put her stethoscope to hear his heartbeat and the sound of his lung. She can hear there are anomalies in his beat. She took Soo Bong walked away from the room. "Oppa, he needs an emergency stent to his coronary artery. He will pass out anytime soon," Yeon Joo said to him. "How do you know? We have to do ECG and Echocardiogram to present to the cardiothoracic department." Soo Bong said to her. "We don't have time, Oppa, Look he passed out already. Call Professor Jong Suk," Yeon Joo rushes to the room to help unconscious Mr Choi.
