"That night, I remember I didn't call you, or more likely couldn't call you. How did you come to me?" Noah asked.
"For that, you should thank Yuyan."
It shocked Noah. "Huh?"
"You know she had her people looking after me, secretly protecting me. They kept an eye on everyone around me, including you. They told me you were in danger and even brought me there," Lu Lijun explained. "I always hated having them around, but that day, I could only be thankful. Since then, I've accepted them being around me."
"So, Yuyan must know what happened that night," Noah asked hesitantly.
"She must have. She knows everything happening around me."
Noah sighed and shook his head, only to hear Lu Lijun say, "She is someone who can understand you better. You don't have to feel awkward about it."
Noah simply nodded as he looked outside the car window. His gaze fell on a particular clothing showroom. "Lijun?"
