Ming Lan stopped peeking and stood in front of the mirror drying her hair while sitting in front of the dresser. The door to the bedroom opened and Wen Zac stepped in. She looked at him through the mirror and watched him walking towards her.
"Let me help you," he offered, taking the hair dryer from her hand without waiting for her reply. She allowed him, relishing the sensation of being cared for. A faint smile graced her lips, and her earlier displeasure toward him faded.
After ensuring her hair was almost dry, he suggested, "Breakfast will get cold. Let's eat first."
She nodded and rose, following Wen Zac as he led the way. "Your belongings will be brought here from Lian's room soon, so you'll have access to your clothes."
"Thank you," she acknowledged, taking a seat as he pulled out a chair for her.
He settled across from her and began serving breakfast while asking, "Are you feeling better now?"
