Jiang Yuyan hesitated for a moment and said, "That day won't come…."

"I know one day you will accept me so don't say anything at the moment," he interrupted her. "I told you, I will wait for you."

Jiang Yuyan didn't know what to say and lowered her gaze as she accepted that gift. 

He spoke again, "It's getting colder. I need to take you back home."

She nodded only to hear him again, "I won't be home tonight."

She looked up at him, "You didn't return home for long. Grandpa…"

"If I return, I might trouble you," he interrupted her, as his sight looked heated up. 

The way he looked at her, Jiang Yuyan felt her heart beating faster again and was ready to step back. She knew the meaning of this gaze. 

Before she could move back, Lu Lijun pulled her closer, "At least today I deserve to get it." He got the gift box from her hand and put it on the table.
