Chương 14: The Day Of Surprises
In Jiang Yang's room.
Jiang Yang checked every inch of the room once he went in. It amazed him to see that everything in his room was perfect and exactly as he liked it.
"Are they trying to bribe me or what? Accepted! It's amazing! Mom-Dad, I am on your side. Count me in," he said, jumping with joy.
The room was decorated with light beige and dark metallic brown color. It was divided into two parts - one part contained a king-sized bed with a bedside table, and the other part meant to be for the study, decorated simply with the study table beside a long glass window. A crisscross patterned bookshelf adorned the walls and held all the books he cherished. The bathroom was luxurious with a huge bathtub, and a shower stall separated with a glass wall.
Besides this, there was one bonus that made him get crazy with happiness, and that was a beautiful guitar hanging on the wall opposite the bed.
He wanted to take the guitar into his hands, but first, he had to clean himself up. He went into the room after pulling out the set of clothes from his wardrobe.
When he returned, he couldn't resist temptation and went to take the guitar in his hand. As he was about to place his hand on it, he heard a scream coming from the opposite room. It was Jiang Yuyan's voice. Putting the guitar down, he rushed to her room, worry evident in his eyes.

Jiang Yuyan's room.
After checking her wardrobe, Jiang Yuyan took her clothes and went to the bathroom for a bath. When she entered inside, she saw the bathroom shelf filled with all her favorite products.
"So, they don't want to give me any chance to complain. No wonder mom is the head of the Management and Planning department. Not bad," she hummed as she observed the products on the shelf.
After taking a bath, Jiang Yuyan came out of the bathroom in her purple bathrobe and stood directly in front of the big oval mirror. It was long enough to accommodate the full figure of the person standing in front, fixed on a wooden stand on the floor.
As she observed herself, she noticed a door on the opposite wall, a few meters from the bed. Turning around, she stepped towards the door and opened it that stunned her into screaming her lungs out, "aahhhh,…," her eyes wide open, about to pop out from their sockets. She covered her mouth with a hand as she staggered back.
Jiang Yang entered her room as fast as he could. When he saw her standing at one door inside her room. He went forward and spoke in a worried voice, "What happened? Are you— aaaah…" ..his piercing scream cut out his own words. He stood at the entrance of the room, dazed and confused, just like Jiang Yuyan.
Within moments, the door to her room burst open, and their parents filed in. They saw these two standing in front of the room and realized what the problem was.

At Lu mansion.
"Elder brother, I am excited to see my birthday gift. What did you bring? Tell me!" Lu Lijun said, being excited.
Lu Qiang simply had an admiring smile on his lips. He would do just about anything to see a glimpse of happiness in his brother's eyes.
They walked upstairs to Lu Qiang's room at the end of the corridor. As they reached the door, Lu Lijun opened the door and dashed inside and Lu Qiang followed him. As he entered the room, Lu Lijun started to search for his gift everywhere, but Lu Qiang lightly asked him to sit on the couch and wait and moved to the enormous wardrobe in his luxurious room.
Lu Qiang's room was one of the best and spacious rooms in the mansion. The room was not colorful, but it was neat, clean, and classy. Everything in the room was in white and silver-grey color. On the right side of the room, there was a king-size bed with bedding that matched the walls. There was a picture of the siblings on his bedside table, the smiling faces of the two shining through.
Opening the wardrobe, Lu Qiang took out a medium-sized box covered with an attractive blue wrapping paper and passed it to Lu Lijun. He gently sat at the other end of the sofa, his hand resting on the hand rest.
Accepting the gift box from his brother happily, Lu Lijun placed it on the couch between them and unwrapped the gift box. He couldn't contain his happiness when he finally glimpsed what he had received.
Lu Lijun gasped as he stared at the object, "It's the latest gaming beast! Every gamer dreams of this set."
Keeping the laptop back on the couch, treating it as a precious treasure, he pounced on his elder brother. "Thank you so much, brother."
Lu Qiang hugged him back. "I am glad you liked it," he said with a warm smile.
It was a day full of surprises for these three people.
