As the wedding excruciatingly getting closer, Jessy was at her wit's end. The invisible man no longer appeared. Adam is nowhere to be seen. And all she can do is to wait...
Wait for what?
Wait to be Zain's wife.
Her mind seemed to be mocking her with every minute that she's thinking about it.
She released a long sigh. She walked out of her room and sauntered slowly towards the Queen's study room. Margaret might know where Adam is, she's the mother herself. Jessy will just try to ask her politely, there is no harm in trying.
When she knocked on the door it opened right away.
"Mother..."
"Jessy, come in," said Margaret.
Jessy sat down on the sofa and look straight into Margaret's eyes.
"What is it, Jess?"
"Mother, I just went to the mansion recently. And I dug Adam's grave I found no dead body or skeleton inside the coffin. Adam is alive! Do you know where he is?" Jessy was studying the Queen's face closely, if she was hiding something, her reaction must give away some hints...
But Margaret's face shows nothing...
"Mother, Adam is alive! Aren't you happy that your son is alive?" the older woman's zero emotion freaked her out.
"So you already find out?" finally the Queen talked. After her careful planning, she was dumb enough to leave that tiny flaws in her plans, to cover her tracks she should have taken care of it a long time ago. Now it's too late to do anything! If she could have known in advance that Jessy would do such a thing she would have stuffed that coffin with somebody's else skeleton. She sighed.
Jessy's eyes grew bigger. She shut her eyes. Inhaling air sharply into her lungs, she had difficulty breathing with so much emotion rushing into her heart at the same time. Adam's mother knows her son is alive! Damn!
Adam is alive!
Adam's mother knows about it all along but pretended she didn't know.
"Mother, where is he? Please, take me to him. I miss him so much! I wanna see him!" she demanded, tears were now streaming down her face.
Margaret just stared at Jessy with a blank face, but her mind was already thinking of a way to sort things out. She has to do the last resort now...
Adam wants to see Jessy!
Jessy wants to see Adam!
If they met and found each other, it will be hard to separate them, and Zain will be left alone in the altar...No! She can't allow that to happen!
If Adam and Jessy will find each other, the wedding will never take place within two weeks. All the preparations will become a big disaster, considering that both Adam and Jessy were powerful cross breed now. No one can stop them.
Margaret was getting tired of it all. So freaking tired!
This has to stop! Now!
Margaret hugged Jessy and rubbed her back.
"I will take you to Adam, don't worry," she murmured.
Suddenly, Jessy felt something is not right with her body, she was freezing!
"Mother, w-what are you going to do? W-what are you doing to me!?" she tried to stop her body from freezing but she was too late!
"You and Adam wanted to see each other, huh? Both of you really put me in so much stress. Now to relieve myself from this crippling stress I will set you free, Jessy. You will thank me later. I will now start the process of erasing Adam's memory in your brain. You push me to the edge, you give me no option. I'm sorry I have to do this..."
Jessy was screaming loud inside her mind...No! No! No!
Then she loses consciousness.
The Queen pressed her two hands on Jessy's head, then she started sorting out Adam's memory in Jessy's mind and erased them one by one until there is nothing left.
Now that she has finally erased Adam's memory, she will just have to wait when she wakes up.
Twenty minutes later...
Jessy's eyes fluttered...
"Mother?"
"You're finally awake, Jessy. You fall asleep earlier. So I let you rest on the sofa for a while. I watched over you."
Jessy sat down on the sofa and touched her head, she feels so lightheaded.
"Come with me, Jess. We will see Adam. You want to see Adam, right?" asked Margaret.
Jessy's brows furrowed. "Huh? W-who is Adam, Mother?"
"My other son," said the Queen smiling, she succeeded!
"I don't know anyone who's name is Adam," she said, not interested.
Jessy rose to her feet and bid the Queen farewell. "I have to go back to my room, Mother."
Margaret watched as Jessy strolled back towards her room. Now that Adam had promised that he will no longer reveal himself to Jessy and Jessy already forgotten Adam, everything will be okay starting from now on. She finally feels the peace starting to settle down in her mind and heart at last.
The wedding shall now take place in two weeks time without any mishap.
The Queen's smile of triumph was broad.

Jessy lay down in her bed, there is something missing in her head, what is it?
And who is Adam? Why did the Queen talk about someone named Adam?
Do I know him? she asked herself.
She walked towards her wardrobe, she missed Nana Aida and the Mansion. She will go for a visit now.
After donning her black costume she immediately teleported herself into the mansion.
"Nana, I'm here! Where are you?" her voice was loud. She found Nana Aida in the dining table eating her dinner alone.
"Nana Aida, I missed you!" she fondly hugged the older woman in the back.
"Jessy, nice to see you again! Come here sat beside me. Eat with me!"
"Nana, I already have eaten my dinner with Mother in the Facility. You enjoy your meal. I will go upstairs first, talk to you later."
Jessy left the dining room and proceed to climb the stairs. She went to her room and lay down on her bed.
While downstairs...
Nana Aida went to the kitchen to wash the dishes...all of a sudden Adam materializes in front of her...
"Adam! Oh, dear. Nice to see you again!" she exclaimed in glee.
"Nana, am here to find, Jessy. Is she here?" his voice was frantic.
"Calm down Adam, what happened to you?"
"I feel that something happened to Jessy. That is why I rushed here. I can't find her in the Facility. So I decided to search here..."
"She's in her room right now," Nana Aida said.
Adam wasted no time and left in a hurry.
When he entered her room, she was lying in her bed, eyes closed.
He slowly walked towards her and took a peek at her lovely face.
Jessy slowly opened her eyes, then her eyes grew bigger. "Monster!" she screamed and teleported herself downstairs almost colliding into Nana Aida's body who happened to stand near the door towards the kitchen.
"Jessy, watch your steps! You guys are really killing me! Please be considerate with an old lady like me!" she whined.
"Nana Aida, there's a monster in my room. The monster so ugly!" she said.
Nana Aida sighed, confused who the monster is?
"Nana, that's the monster!" Jessy pointed to Adam who is currently descending on the stairway.
Nana's eyes grow bigger in confusion. "That is Adam, that is not a monster!"
"Jessy, don't be afraid of me. It's me, Adam, you don't remember me?" he asked sadly.
"I don't know you!" Jessy blurted out.
Adam sat on the sofa both his shoulder slumped. He came too late, he never expected his mother will proceed in erasing Jessy's memory of him.
He sighed, covering his face with his trembling hands. He wanted to cry in defeat.
Nana Aida walked towards Adam. "What happened, why Jessy is acting like this? Why she can no longer remember you?"
"Mother wiped her memories of me, Nana. It's all over between me and Jessy. She no longer recognizes me," he said in a cold somber voice like of that someone who is dying.
"Nana Aida, why are you siding with that monster?" Jessy asked her Nanny in confusion.
"Jessy he is not a monster. He is your boyfriend, Adam!"
"B-boyfriend?" she laughed.
"Show me any evidence, I might believe!" said Jessy.
Adam instantly rushed to Jessy's side and brought her to her room in just a matter of seconds.
He was looking for something...then he found it! Jessy's photo album that was filled with their memories.
He gave it to Jessy, hoping she will remember something.
Jessy starts looking at the album page by page, all the while watching at an interval at the monster's ugly face. The smiling girl in the photos was her, there is no doubt about that. The way she hugged him, and the way the photos captured her enormous love for the monster is clear as daylight. There were several pictures that she was kissing him, even straddling him, as in! Oh my, she bit her lower lip.
Based on the photos, he is someone she loves dearly.
But why can't she remember him?
Why she can no longer feel anything for him?
"Somebody erased your memory, Jess, so that you can forget me."
She looked at him in the eye, trying to know if he was telling the truth.
"Do you want to remember me, Jess?" he asked earnestly.
"Dunno...maybe...how?" unsure of herself she stammered.
"Make up your mind pleaseee!" he begged.
Based on the photos, she and this monster were sharing something special, but why can't she remember him? Why? She was confused as hell.
Adam didn't wait for her to decide, he closed the distance between them and locked his lips with her mouth. Then he makes sure she can't move, he hugged her tight. As his lips plunged deeper into her mouth, he starts transplanting their memories back into her brain, one by one.
How it feels like if your memory of someone you love got erased? Whoaaa...this is a game changer!
