It had been two weeks since Mu Jianyu last saw his wife and after his confrontation with Shen Zichen, his problems were starting to pile up at an alarming rate. It also didn't help that his divorce with Li Xiuying was already out in public when in fact it wasn't finalized yet. 

The rumors about him taking a mistress causing the failure of his marriage with Li Xiuying started to circulate around. As to where it had started, he had no idea. He decided to stop meeting Lin Meirong and put a hold on her finances until he mends his relationship with Li Xiuying. 

For the past week, he stayed at the apartment he previously shared with his wife. Wife, if she hadn't signed the papers yet, but if she did, Mu Jianyu would have to suck it up and accept that he'd shot his own foot by driving her away.
