Chương 7: Chapter 7
The night has come.
All three go to their respective rooms, while informing their parent that their parent that they will enter cultivation for the next the next few days, at least Xiao Ning'er nad Ye Ziyun did, in Shen Wang case, his parents have gone to another expedition, and it will take a few days for them to be back, so he only informed the servants, while telling them to inform his parents of his situation in case they come back before he comes out.
Xiao Ning'er's Inner World
Opening her eyes, Xiao Ning'er looks around, trying to locate her Zanpakutō spirit.
In her hand a slender sword, that she has always used till now.
Suddenly she feels her skin tingle, her blood boiling with excitement.
She quickly sidesteps to her left while bringing her sword up as she slashes down.
"BOOM!"
In front of her is the spirit of her Zanpakutō with his sword raised, parring her own.
"What are you doing?!"
Just as she finishes asking her question, she is thrown backward by the strength applied by the spirit on his sword.
As she is thrown, she brakes a few trees, until she finally comes to a stop, while raising herself, and takes a defensive position.
Blood can bee is seen flowing from the corner of her mouth.
Suddenly she opens her eyes wide, as she brings her sword up, parring the attackers downward slash.
"Boom!"
The ground underneath her cracks from the pressure of their clash.
Feeling the pressure behind his sword, she quickly sidesteps, while letting his sword fall, as such he loses his footing, while she brings her sword and does a vertical slash, taking his sides, but before her sword touches him, he disappears from he sight.
She quickly dodges the attack from her back with her own flash step, this continuing for a few more minutes, as cut marks start appearing on her skin.
Suddenly, "Severing Void!"
An invisible wall formes at her back, as a blue energy wave clashes with it, forming cracks in the barrier.
A fist connects with her face as her attention to her back.
She is blown backward by the blow, as her instincts start working at their full capacity.
Before she comes to a stop, she feels the skin on her back tingle, as she tries to move to the side.
"Slash!"
A sword comes through her shoulder as she quickly uses a flash step to go forward, pulling herself from the sword.
Blood flows from her shoulder, as pain start's to overtake her system.
"What the hell are you doing!? I thought this was supposed to be a test, not you trying to kill me!?"
"And so it is."
"What part of this seems like a freaking test to you?!" As rage start's feeling her heart.
Let it be known that she, Xiao Ning'er is by no means a stranger to pain, no pain is something that she has become accustomed to in the last few years, is something that she overcomes as she becomes stronger.
The only thing's she truly dislikes about pain is the words that come with it. Those wounds that make her more sluggish, not being able to perform at one hundred percent, fortunately, she has managed to master the healing arts.
As she looks at her adversary with rage, she does not let it control it. No, she has learned that rage and wrath can be distinguished in two types.
The first, a rage like a turbulent uncontrollable fire that lays waste to everything, and the second type, a rage that is like a calm deep sea that swallows everything, this one she has learned to harness and use, she has gained complete control over her rage.
Looking at her with complete calm in his eyes, he answers.
"If you truly wish to know my name, to be able to use my power, you must first defeat me, otherwise you are not worthy."
"This is your teste."
He slowly starts walking towards her, as he observes steam starting to come out from her wounds as they heal at a rapid rate.
Taking hold of his sword, he flash steps before her, with the intention of regaining her in combat.
But what happens isn't what he had planned.
As he reaches before her, he feels a hit o his face, so strong that he blanks out as he is thrown backward with a force that he never experiences before.
Changing pov.
Xiao Ning'er appears in the place he was about to hit the ground, as she takes hold of his head with her hand and crashes him in the grown forming a five feet crater deep and twenty feet wide.
As he feels this, the spirit uses all it's strength to rise at a fast speed swinging his swords, unfortunately for him, he is not able to even cut a stand of her hair, as she observes him with cold eyes, that bear no emotion.
"What changed?"
"Nothing, I'm just simply treating you as an enemy."
As she trusts with the handle of her sword in her abdomen sending him in the air, appearing above him and kicking him in the grown bellow with her right leg.
"NGHAH!!" Blood sprays from is mouth from the hit.
Slowly raising himself to his feet, he shouts.
"Now this is more like it! I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!"
Before him, Xiao Ning'er has her sword on her left side for a moment, then it appears at her right side, and she slowly lowers it down.
Not even a moment afterward, countless cuts appear on the body of the spirit, with blood rushing like a geezer.
It slowly strat's falling on down.
"So this is... your current level... I didn't think you'd be this strong!!"
As he slowly starts to dissipate.
A soon as it fully dissipates, a shadow starts to overtake the world.
Looking up, Xiao Ning'er is surprised by what she sees.
A gigantic azure dragon is floating above her, looking towards her.
She is knocked out of her thoughts when a voice reverberates in her inner world.
"Congratulations, hatchling. You have passed my test, and with this, you have gained access to the first release of your power, while gaining the right to know my name."
"The real you? Then who was the one I was fighting just now?"
"The one you knew till now, was only a fragment of my true self. This, what you see before you, is my true form."
"Now then hatchling, it is time for you to know my name... and remember it."
"My name is..."
