Chương 50: HE LOVE SOMEONE ELSE
Maria was waiting for his answer, anxiously.
"you're pregnant"
Tobias told her, still, it shocked her even if she had a feeling about it.
She looked at him, sweats appeared on his forehead. He looked even more nervous than her.
Maria suddenly remembered Charlotte.
Tobias and Charlotte were a couple!
She felt guilty, it turned out she wreck their relationship. It makes her depressed. She was wondering what's Tobias been thinking.
She felt like crying!
Tobias looked serious. Was he regretting about her pregnancy? She was really ashamed and pitied her unborn child.
"oh? You don't have to worry about it, I can raised this child by my own."
She calmly said, forcing herself to smile.
But, she was breaking inside!
Maria watched Tobias expression, she can't point out what he's thinking base on his face.
Did he want to get rid of this baby?
My baby?
Our baby?!
No!
"don't even think about getting rid of this child. If you don't want my child then don't!"
she said seriously. What's wrong with him? Why was he not talking?! Is it really hard to accept this situation?!
"no, I am going to take responsibility for what I've done."
Finally, he talked!
"if your just guilty about what you've done, then don't. I am not forcing you to take responsibility!"
It seemed that he just want to kept the child because he was guilty!
"it's not like that...."
"then what?"
she cut him off.
"were you afraid that Charlotte may found about this?"
There! She said it!
"what did Charlotte had to do with this?"
"she's your girlfriend, were you afraid that she might know about this?!"
She was really upset. She needs to took it out!
"no, we're not a couple anymore."
She was shunned, is it true?
Or, he's just bluffing about it.
"what?"
"I said we're not together anymore, I broke up with her since our last fight."
he explained to her patiently.
That was 3 days ago!
"why?"
"because I love someone else."
he smiled for the first time since he stepped in her room.
But Maria felt her heart dropped from the peak of the Eiffel tower to the ground.
He love someone?!
She was waiting for him to tell her who it was, but Tobias kept silent.
She didn't have the courage to asked, she was afraid to death to hear his answer!
Maria started crying. Tobias looked at her and hush her to stop.
"stop crying, it might not good for our baby."
he comforted her, while he hugged her.
Our baby?
She felt happy. It was a bittersweet feeling.
Maria tried to stop her eyes from tearing up. But to no avail.
'I'm sorry baby, Mommy just need to let this out. Just this time baby. Mommy loves you so much!'
She silently talked to her baby inside her flat tummy. Maria touch her abdomen and caress it lovingly.
She's having a baby!
Even though it developed inside her without planning, but she was overjoyed. She promised to love and care her baby over her life!
